Size 30 good for Sig P250 compact, size 15 not good for 1911 commander
Size 30 (designed for H&K USP compact) is made in the Philippines, and made quite well it seems. I have a few Blackhawks (made in the US), and looked for one for the Sig P250 compact. As usual, their holster fitting app did not help me at all, so I tried the UM site. They too do not mention the P250 but at least they have size 30 for the USP (very similar dimensions to the P250). Sure enough, it is tight but OK (more suitable for the small girp frame than the medium). The nylon will stretch a bit and not recover, so the holster will fit quite well after a few days. The trigger is covered, and the barrel extends to within 1 inch from the (open) bottom of the holster (i.e. the holster is about 1/2 inch taller than necessary). Tight enough to dispense with the thumb lock (unless you are mountain climbing).Note for 1911 commander owners: size 15 says semi-autos up to 4.5 inches, so you might be tempted to get it instead of size 19 (for 1911 govt). 1911's are skinnier than other semi-autos, and the muzzle will protrude after a couple of weeks even though the barrel is 4.25 inches. You will need to get size 19 and live with it being 1 inch too long, or try a different holster.

Uncle Mike's Holsters are made to last
This isn't my first Uncle Mike's holster that I've purchased & it's definitely not my last. The first one I purchased was for my Glock model #19. I purchased it in 1990 & I still have it & use it everytime that I carry that firearm. So I purchased one for my Glock #27 subcompact & it fit like a glove. I carried that gun in that Uncle Mike's holster everyday since 2003 until present. Finally one of the belt loop holes started to fray. So I ordered a new one & the design & quality hasn't changed in all those years. I received it today & my Glock #27 slipped right in for another perfect fit. The locking straps are adjustable. It comes with a tool for that. Very simple to use. For off duty, concealed carry holster you can't beat it. I love my uncle Mike's holster.

Size 30 works well
Considering that's a cloth holster, it does the job. I bought the Size 30 to fit the HK45c. Initially, it didn't look like it was going to work (due to it being too small) but it actually fits just right. I recommend practicing (without a mirror) to make sure you can secure the thumbstrap with only one hand. I found the top slots work the best to keep the weight more evenly balanced on the belt. Extracting and re-holstering was not a problem. It just takes a little practice. Clearly this style of holster needs a proper gun belt (of at least 1.5") to use safely. I wore at the 5pm position which seem to be the most comfortable *and* concealable. The 3pm position works but the pistol is quite a bit harder to conceal. Unlike some kydex or leather holsters, a nylon holster is much more comfortable to wear -- especially on long trips.

Works for 1911 Commander - ATI FX45 4.25" - or Star BM pistols
This is the solid quality product I expect from Uncle Mike's. The holster is comfortable and well-made. It's also adjustable, so I was able to fit my 1911 commander (4.25" barrel) in it fine. But, I've ended up using it primarily for my Star BM pistol. The adjustable thumb snap is the only thing that makes doing so viable. For anyone wondering trying to find good pistol-holster pairings, I have ATI 1911 Commander FX45 with 4.25" barrel and the holster fits it perfectly. All in all, a good purchase. I have a 20 year old Uncle Mike's kydex holster. Affordable and durable. That's hard to pass up.

Nice fit, nice feel, the retainer strap falls to hand easily, on the draw and presentation. Well made.
Bought this to carry my S&W 625-7 in .45 Colt. Size 2 fits an N-frame revolver just fine, 3-4 inch barrel. Also fits my 629 .44 Mag Trailboss. These are heavy guns, but the weight is pulled close to the body, very comfortable to wear. My only concern is how the holster will stand up to long term use. I adjusted the strap to fit quickly with the included plastic piece. Pleased by the purchase. Go ahead, make my day!If the holster lasts, I'll update this and bump it another star.If you are in doubt as to which sidearm this holster fits, go to Uncle Mike's website and enter the barrel length, make caliber etc. and it will return the suggested size number.

Excellent product, great value
These are excellent holsters--inexpensive, durable, versatile, and highly serviceable. I have used one for a number of years and just purchased another. The 3-slot design permits cross-draw carry as well as strong side. Limitations are that some larger, heavier guns may sag a bit; also, in cross-draw mode the barrel is vertical, not angled toward the draw, so depending on your particular firearm and body type, it may not yield an easy draw. But at the price for which these can typically be had, your downside is limited enough that it's worth a try.

Revolver size absolutely does not fit a revolver.
This relates to the Size 2 for medium revolvers. I've had a similar but much older Uncle Mike's nylon pancake for many years and love it--it fits a wide variety of large and compact semi-autos. But not revolvers, so I was hoping this would fit the bill. The short answer: no.First, the holster is not very stiff. With a heavy steel revolver, this results in the gun curling the holster and pulling well out from the body. The only way this doesn't occur is if you happen to be able to place the holster around two belts loops to keep it from bowing outward. Great for fast draw, lousy for concealment.Second: the thumb break seems to be lined up with semi-autos in mind, therefore loops well above the hammer spur of several revolvers I've tried it with. So: useless. But removable.Third, and most seriously: This does not fit a revolver in a way that covers the trigger. At all. I've tried it with J, K and L frames (and a Python). It swallows the J but the "medium frame" triggers are fully exposed above the holster. This also leaves a lot of the revolver's mass above the holster (it barely accepts the very front of the frame), so protection and retention are terrible. The one type of revolver this does fit is a 4.5" singe action, but the trigger is still fully exposed. Strangely, it fits large and medium semiautos just fine, trigger guard and all.Tag says Size 2. Website insists this is for a 4" medium to intermediate revolver. There's no way a double action revolver fits in this.

Secure & comfortable holster
Fits my PPK very well, low profile & doesn't print. Comfortable to wear all day sitting & moving around. Only complaint is that it can be a little tricky to reholster if you wear it towards the back
