Solar Grow Light Outdoor Solar Spotlight 16 LED Grow Lamp Adjustable for Outdoor Automatic Plants Hydroponics Gardening

I bought these lights because I live in an area where most mornings are overcast and by the time the sun comes out my plants only receive a few hours of light. I was hoping that these lights could supplement the light in the evenings. However, because the lights only receive a 2-4 hours of direct sunlight they only run for about an hour. Despite the fact that some days the direct sunlight is longer it's still under an hour. I did notice that when they receive direct sunlight for a full day they run for over 6 hours (maybe more, i usually fall asleep before they go out). The other small issue for me is that I have to position the lights in the morning away from my plants to get the optimal amount of sun and then turn them back towards the plants at the end of the day. I would like to see a light that allows the solar panel to tilt side to side so that i didn't have to move it around so much. Bottom line It's a little bit more work than I was expecting. Especially since I bought them because I do not have a space to move my plants to receive optimal sunlight during the days.

I bought two of these solar grow lights and one did not work upon arrival. Obtaining a refund was fairly easy. The light that is working, I am a little skeptical if it’s doing anything. Time will tell.

Of the 4 I ordered, one came without the "stake" that fits into the light unit. Also, there were no instructions. There is a little button on it with some symbols but not sure what all mean.

I bought three of these. Two work, and my plants seem to like them. The third never worked; it was defective.

I ordered 4 and 1 didn't work. They quickly replaced it and now all 4 are working fine. I placed them in areas that do not receive more than 4 to 5 hours of sun light. I have seen improvements in the plants since getting the lights. Another positive of the lights is that they can either be placed in the ground or attached to a wood post or wall. The negative is that the screw holes are too close to the light and it is difficult to get the screws in.

It lights up red but most importantly after a whole day of charge in the sun, it last about 15-20 minutes max. Not sure who would want one that only last that long.

My seedlings grow better with this light. It is a great product as is but could use some improvements to be able to detach the solar panel from the actual light (with a safe cord). That way I would not have to charge it in one location and use in another which adds to my daily maintanance.

I really wanted this solar powered grow light to work - it’s a great idea, but in practice it’s so disappointing. First, the item did not look new: it had a nick on the side of the casing + smudge on the solar cell panel. There is a good reason the seller puts up photo of instructions on the selling page -the light didn’t come with instructions (at least mine didn’t). Printed the instructions from seller’s Amazon page for the light (which of course came out fuzzy). Followed instructions. Light worked the first day, emitting 1 hour of light; since then, no light. I have ensured that the unit has received direct light for a good 6-8 hours, etc.etc. as per instructions but nothing :( . It’s going back - how disappointing!
