I have been drinking Pero for about 10 years. I grew up drinking barley as a coffee alternative drink in Brazil, and found Pero once moving to the US. Now I live in an area where I couldn't find Pero in stores, and when I find it it's double or triple the price than what it's being sold on Amazon for. I bough a two package from this seller and it arrived in a timely manner, undamaged and it had the best price when I compared to others!TIP: When making Pero, bring some water to a boil first to dilute the instant powder, THEN add your milk and sugar or creamer. I noticed it won't be clumpy if you dilute it in HOT water first. Then you just enjoy as you would coffee!

I saw people in a FB group I am in talking about this as a coffee sub and saying how much they liked it. I decided to give it a try as I am trying to cut out caffeine after noon daily. This is as easy to make as instant coffee and it dissolved perfectly. I normally put a little milk in my coffee so I did that with this and I was surprised it tasted very much like an instant coffee though less bitter. I really like it and its a great after dinner drink for me.

This tastes just like brewed coffee. I highly recommend for those who want to drink coffee but can’t.

Some days I need a mild pleasant hot drink to start the day. I've been using this since I first discovered it in Uruguay.I have not been able to locate it locally so ordered online. Arrived timely and packaged with care to protect the paper container.

I suffer from GERD so the doctor said no more coffee with high acid and no more caffeine. I was desperate to find a GOOD tasting coffee substitute. Someone recommended PERO and I've been using it for two years now. I froth some 2% milk and add that with a little honey and it is SO tasty. Part of the coffee experience in the morning is the RITUAL of making the coffee. PERO satisfies! It is good tasting and healthy and has none of the high acid OR the caffeine. I like to add a teaspoon of Pero to my decaf coffee for flavor and to mellow out the acidity. Tastes great with a small shot of milk. I gave it 4 stars, rather than 5, due to the price being a bit higher than grocery store.

Great product...this set of 6 was a good bargain, and came well packed.I love the flavour, it's very smooth, but I add some cocoa, for some extra.If you like smooth coffee..this is a great substitute.

Quit drinking coffee, this is the best substitute I've ever tried. Used to drink about 7-8 cups of coffee a day, don't now. Pero is a way better for the blood pressure. Fast and efficient service from this company.
