Black Currant Iced Tea - 10 Count Tin

A local bakery / cafe serves this iced tea and from the moment I tried it for the first time, I fell in love with its slightly fruity flavor and smooth texture. After discovering it was MightyLeaf who made the tea, I immediately went online to purchase some. Amazon.com's price is lower out-the-door with shipping than buying it directly from MightyLeaf.If you've never purchased it before, then choose the product that comes with the reusable tin. When you run out, you can buy refills for a slightly lower price. The tea bags are made to brew a gallon of iced tea. To brew it, you start by infusing the tea bag in about a 1/2 gallon of boiling water for 5 minutes after which you fill the rest of your gallon container up with ice.I personally have a Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker - TM1S but have yet to try making this particular iced tea in it, due to the directions on the tin.One of the things that I feel makes this tea unique from other hot teas that are then iced, is the flavor seems to be a bit sweeter and much more refreshing.

I had Black Current Iced Tea in California and after searching high and low, found it online at Amazon.com. It is the most delicious iced team I have ever experienced.

This is the same tea that is served at Corner Bakery. We love it! Each teaBag makes 1gallon.

I love that this tea has such a great fruit flavor without being sweetened. I also love the large one gallon size tea bags. I make a gallon at a time and keep it in the fridge so I can have iced tea anytime.
