Great size
I learned a good lesson. I had been getting shower sweeps too small from big box stores. But this one fit perfect and was so easy to install. Works like a charm.

Works well. Quality product.
I ordered this to replace a the strip installed by the builder 5 years ago when my house was built. After 5 years, that original strip was beginning to leak at one end and upon inspection had begun separating at the bottom of the door track. I was very impressed with the quality of this new strip. I measured the thickness of my door before ordering as well as the gap below the door to be sure it would fit. The design of this strip is not exactly the same as what was there. When the product arrived, it was nicely packaged in a protective bag. I was able to easily remove it and size it by simply holding it up to the door and making a mark where it needed to be cut. This is a thick and hard piece. It would not cut with a utility knife as I was expecting. It cut extremely easily when I ran a hacksaw through it. After trimming it to size, I pulled the old strip off, cleaned the door and sill thouroughly and ran a little water down the track of the new piece where it would be installed for lubrication. It went on tight, but gripped positively. I had to give it a few minutes and the pressure was making it back off in the middle. I had to come back and press up again to repeat it. Then about 10 minutes later, did this again. After that, the water I had applied for lubrication had dried and it’s not moved at all. It fits great and there have been no leaks. Where the old strip was slightly cloudy in appearance, this one is crystal clear. It looks great on our shower and has performed well so far. Not sure how long it will last... I don’t expect these to last forever. Will I get 5 years out of it like the original? I don’t know. Even if I had to replace it every year or two, I’d buy this product again. Easy to work with and looks good. Not much more to say.

It fits a 1/2" frameless shower door
It came with no directions so I had to find You tube videos on how to install a frameless shower door sweep. It would have been nice if they didn't assume you knew how to do it-any tips would have been helpful. You need to use a hack saw to trim it to the correct length. Then I tried to push it along the bottom of the door (starting at the outer end of the door) but couldn't budge it after 1/3 of the way. I finally saw on a video that you push both ends on and then slowly push the rest of it up onto the bottom of the shower door. Then you have to push a drop down so it is in contact with the floor and your hear that "sweep" sound. Then I had to slightly trim the edge that meets the stationary part of the wall with plastic trim so it would close properly. This is a lot of more complicated than you think. Also clean the shower door and get all that stuff off from the old sweep and let it dry before you install the new sweep. This is a lot of crawling around on your knees-next time I am having someone else install it (and all the other plastic trim that I just noticed on my frameless shower!)

Perfect fit and easy to install
My old drip rail had turned yellow over the years. We cleaned it frequently but the yellow remained. This new drip rail is crystal clear. I couldn't find the 3/16" size in my local hardware stores so I was happy to find this one on Amazon. It is a very snug fit and installed quickly after trimming it to fit the bottom of my shower door. After thoroughly cleaning the glass I sprayed a little windex along the bottom edge to allow the rail to slide onto the glass. There is no need to use any tape or adhesive since it really grips the glass well.
