False advertising!
Not the same as pictured!! Has extra ingredients not shown on Amazon picture, such as nucleotide seasoning, wait, what???? Sugar, starch and yeast extract also added! Can't return, bad company!!

It Saved My Marriage
Ok, it didn't really save my marriage.............. I'm not married....single....very single, but that just means I only have myself or my dog Gus to blame when things taste like trashcan juice. And Gus likes trashcan juice, so that means it's on me. So when I say this stuff helps with giving pazzaZ to your dishes, than you should just go ahead and trust the random guy on the internet, because that's what your parents taught you Now buy this magical powder and thank me later

What I was looking for!
You really do only need 1 tsp for 1 cup of water and get a lot of mushroom flavor. These are tiny granules, not bouillon powder, so you won't want to use these as a shake-on spice; they're meant to dissolve into a liquid. They don't have a bunch of additives like oils or starch as you'd expect from chicken bouillon from your average grocery store, but they do contain salt, as advertised. Great for an umami boost, or to use alongside a meat flavored broth for some depth of flavor.

way too salty and just exactly what kind of mushrooms are used?
Maybe this has great flavor, but I can't get past the salt as it is the second ingredient. I'd also be interested in knowing just which mushroom(s) are used. The picture on the front of package clearly shows Shiitake but that don't mean jack. Transparency Asian manufacturers..... please.

I absolutely love the deep rich flavor of this product. It is an amazing flavor enhancer. A little goes a long way, however. It is important to follow the package instructions as it can become very salty. I found using just shy of 1 tsp to 1 cup of water is perfect.This could be that secret ingredient everyone is wondering about. I have added it to tacos, put a dash in deviled eggs. I even mixed it in with melted unsalted butter, a little onion powder and just a pinch of sugar for a fantastic popcorn topping. The possibilities are endless.

i really can’t describe the flavor of this seasoning. it’s amazing, it’s umami, it’s everything i’ve ever wanted. every cook needs this in their kitchen. even if you can’t cook this seasoning will make it taste like you do ;)

Ooo-mommy it's good.
I use this as soup broth made for vegan ramen, also great for making beans, lentils, and vegan meat substances like with seitan. Use vital wheat gluten with soy sauce tomato past mushroom powder, and seasoning of your choice. Steam for two hours and enjoy it.

Mushrooms always available
I tried this on a lark and was pleasantly surprised as to how tasty it is. A little salty, so cut back on other salts when using this. I passed on samples to friends who think it is just great.The only problem is trying to find out how much to use: i.e., I use a heaping tablespoon for 4-6 scrambled eggs.
