The media could not be loaded.  Highly recommended!! Yes, it may slightly crush the tiniest of pills, but in my case, it depends on the amount of force used to crush the pill, plus the speed. I recommend closing the top quickly once the pill is in place. You may have slight fragments with tiny pills, but it still does the job!! It has a blade that cuts thru the middle once you position the pill in place. It works like other pill cutters in that respect. I do have better luck cutting the bigger pills for my dog. But it does the job fine for her smaller pills, too, much better than I can do with a knife. I like the design. Keep away from children! The blade is sharp. Am hoping I can get a replacement blade if ever needed. I’m pleased with my purchase and the speed of delivery.

Have to tell you about this awesome pill cutter. I have bought sooooooo many pill cutters and they end up in the trash and I end up beating myself up for buying another worthless pill cutter. I had my doubt about this one because, where you lay the pill, there is no gripper to hold the pill in place, just plain plastic. But I kid you not, this cutter is so accurate and didn't move the slightest bit. I have big oblong pills that are hard to cut and this cutter sliced right through it with no problem at all. Wow!!! Who would have thought! So thankful I took a chance and bought this one. And, no they didn't pay me or give me a discount to say all this. 😀

My husband has a small pill he has to cut in half. Was trying to do it manually with a knife and wound up with lots of uneven pieces. This gadget split the pill evenly without having to aline the scored line on the pill. Had very little crumbs from the pills. It is plastic and I don't know yet how durable it will be but so far has worked great.

Actually did a good job of cutting my pills, didn’t smash a single one and cut them fairly (but not perfectly) midline. I would buy it again if I ever needed another given price point and how decently well it worked. Note that I only used it for large pills and am not sure how well it would do/precise it would be for small pills.

I hastily closed and caught the edge of my finger and pinched my skin in pain, but being less hasty and more aware it cut my pills very well. It is annoying to put each pill in there, but there is a catch basin to let them fall into until you have finished all you need to cut . Cut them well without crumbling them.

My dog is on heart meds. Two need to be cut in half. One would just crumble when I tried using a sharp knife. I would have to try more than once and one half would basically be shavings and I wasn’t certain he was receiving the full dose.With this the pills are cut effortlessly. I leave the two halves in the storage area so they are ready for the next dose. I am very pleased and highly recommended this pill cutter.

Works for its intended purpose. My wife was trying to cut our dogs pills in half with a butterknife this works way better! It even works on very small pills. Worth the money.

Doesn’t always seem to cut pull in half if doing a lot of pills at once. But if you go slow and precise, it works just fine. Sturdy. Sharp blade and good catchment of cut pills.
