LuminarcVitro Blooming Round Ceramic Casserole Dish With Lid, 5 Quart

I have 3 sizes of these and I love them. Much more durable and higher quality than Corning French White I had before. They can go in the microwave, stovetop, oven - and used for storing leftovers in the fridge. So functional, so easy to clean, so beautiful! I hope Luminarc realizes how wonderful these are and expands the line!

Good quality, good for healthy cooking. I really like this Casserole. I would like to buy another one like this, but 3 Quart. I'll look for it.

Very versatile - goes from fridge to oven to table, etc. I understand it will also heat on range top burner, but haven't tried this as yet. It's also very attractive

Love this dish. So easy to clean. Size is perfect.

I really wanted a casserole dish that was not ALL glass. I also like the handles to help you hold the dish. The information on this dish said that it retained heat and you could turn the heat off early and your food would still be cooking. This would help save you gas/electric. I tried this and it did work. I reheated a piece of chicken in a fraction of the time I would have normally had to cook it.

1 Year Update: After near-daily use my 3L pot chipped while removing the glass steamer insert. I am glad it made it through 300+ uses, but I expected it to last several years, if not decades. The manufacturer did not honor the 10 year warranty coverage because the pot was discontinued in the USA. There are three different vintage Corning Ware dishes that work with the 20cm glass steamer: 2.25L Versa 1156, 2.5L saucepan, and 3.5L Visions Stewpot.Original Review: I like these Luminarc pots. The simple design is attractive, functional, and reminiscent of vintage pyroceram pots. The 2L was too small for my needs and I ended up getting a 3L model instead. Both are 20cm diameter at the top and work with the Luminarc steamer tray. The 2L and 3L pots are smaller than large electric burners and a little bigger than small burners; probably less of an issue when using a gas stovetop. Cooked-on food cleans up relatively easily with soaking and a gentle rub. The glass seems relatively durable but I prefer to hand dry with a towel to avoid potential damage rubbing against other dishes while drying in a sink; not a problem if running through a dishwasher.

Easy to steam cook with the Luminarc Round Ceramic Casserole 2qt -- simply add the Luminarc's Vitro Blooming glass steamer on top.

Pentola in vetro Luminarc, arrivata in confezione originale, in pessimo stato, sembra che qualcuno l'abbia usato e poi effettuato il reso, con base della pentola sbeccata e con il coperchio non idoneo, non é il suo originale, infatti marcato Pyrex e non Luminarc, quindi è stato adattato, con il pomolo in plastica (come da mie foto, mentre nella foto dell'imballo originale, il coperchio é tutto in vetro, anche l'anello per il sollevamento e abbassamento), così rende impossibile l'utilizzo in forno, in descrizione dice che resiste a 450°, mi basta 180° ma il coperchio così com'è, ahimè si scioglierebbe. Non é quel che io ho ordinato, e quel che desideravo.

Caçarola robusta, grande e versátil. Produto de qualidade e dá um aspecto de sofisticação para cozinha. É um pouco pesada e requer maior cuidado no manuseio. Proporciona uma forma saudável de cozimento. Utilizando em fogo baixo e acompanhando de perto o preparo dos alimentos, existe pouca chance dos alimentos grudarem no fundo. De um modo geral recomendo o produto, fiquei muito satisfeita com a aquisição.
