Great stories...
Tells some beginning history of Lara. It has good art and well paced believable background before she got her fathers money...Looking forward to more...

Fun "Tomb Raider"-ing.
Dark Horse’s “Tomb Raider: Omnibus Vol. 1” is an absolute TOME of a trade paperback, collecting 19 (!) issues of Dark Horse’s various “Tomb Raider” comic book series, all of which are set in the “reboot” universe that was launched with the 2013 videogame. As tie-in comics go, most of the issues collected here actually work more than they don’t, with writers Gail Simone and Rhianna Pratchett doing a (mostly) good job of hewing closely to the sensibility of the games while also taking care to craft individual tales that are fully satisfying in their own rights. It also helps that the art – provided here by Nicolas Daniel Selma and Derliz Santacruz – is better than what characterizes all too many videogame comic book tie-ins, capturing the cinematic visuals of the series in a genuinely distinguished way.For die-hard fans of the franchise, “Omnibus: Volume 1” offers quite a bit to enjoy, and then some. (Just don’t be surprised if it takes 6 months to read the entire thing).

Just not the same.
I have several Tomb Raider comics in my collection. The graphics from the first ones published back in the ‘90’s are fantastic. The current attempts are very disappointing in comparison. It’s like that part of the book is an afterthought.
