If only the sequel was as good as this
I love the way this movie is filmed- the scenery, the music, the clothes etc. Sherilyn Fenn is gorgeous in her role and plays it beautifully! Richard Tyson is instanly likeable, possibly the most likeable character in the whole movie. Louise Fletcher delivers us evil once again and looks great doing it. I love the southern aspect of the story as well as the high society aspect that goes along with it. This is one of those movies where you get what you expected from the trailer, and it's a good thing if you liked the trailer. I don't hate or love the ending of this movie, but the way it's done is so great that that doesn't even matter. If you're familiar with Zalman King movies then you might think that this is one of his tamer ones. I don't know how you would feel about that, I was fine with it, but see for yourself. I would never not recommend this movie to anyone, the only thing I will say though is you may want to watch it by yourself for the first time and then decide if there is anybody that you would be comfortable watching it with.

One of my favorite guilty pleasures...
Two Moon Junction was the first Zalman King movie I ever watched and have to say that it was my favorite. Yes, the story gets a little campy here & there, but you just have to love it anyways! I can't get enough of Richard Tyson in this movie...his looks, his quirky & sometimes very funny remarks, his sincere moments. (I personally think he is very underrated as an actor!) Sherilyn Fenn plays the spoiled rich girl who could want for nothing more in life...until she meets carnival worker Perry. She has everything, he has nothing, but in the end...well if I told you how it ended, you might not be enticed to watch it. Love it, love it, love it!

This might be an oldie, but one if the hottest movies I ever saw.
Great movie with Berl Ives and Sherilyn Fenn. Not one for the kids. Movie for couples or a girls night.

Great movie from my younger years
Arrived sooner then expected in great condition. Video quality was great and not edited as some comments stated. It is exactly what I had hoped for. I bought a previous copy from another seller and the video quality was terrible and subtitled in Korean. It was so edited that it took away from the story. I threw it in the garbage. Please spend a little extra, it's totally worth it.

Just as good as I remembered.
This is a good movie. Watched this movie years ago. I came across it on Amazon and had to have it. NOT FOR THE KIDS TO SEE. I enjoyed the lustful story line. I would recommend this movie, to other adults. I also enjoyed the story line about family, oligations and desire. I rec'd before the arrival date. Watch it with your honey, I think he/she will also enjoy it.

Very mixed reactions
Before purchasing Two Moon Junction, I knew that this movie was popular for its erotic sex scenes between Sherilyn Fenn and her co-star Richard Tyson. But the reason I bought this movie was because of the excellent soundtrack I had glimpsed on the internet, along with a few scenes that impressed me in their directing, editing, and tension like at the Carnival and in the DeLongpre's house when Sherilyn's character (April De Longpre) catches Perry in her shower. All these scenes made me consider this movie as something interesting enough to buy and watch. To me, I felt the first part was the best, mostly for its cinematography and its lighting. Especially when there is a juxtaposition of Sherilyn diving in the pool while the carnival is being installed by Perry and the rest of the crew. Along with an excellent scene while we hear the song Who do you love and an excellent scene between April and her grandmother Belle, the first part of the movie really impressed me. Even Kristy McNicols's character was perfect in her funny role and I felt she should have had more presence in the film. So to me, that first part of the movie works well. But for the second part, starting when the characters leave the carnival after a big accident, I felt the story turned more into an excuse to show some arousing scenes between Fenn and Tyson and exploit the actress's nudity. Sure the big argument between her and Perry was very funny, but when I watched her sex scenes, I still had the feeling that Sherilyn Fenn wasn't comfortable doing them for she was always crying at the end of those scenes. And to me I think that situation really hurt the film. Not only that, some of them were just over-the-top, like the one in the restaurant which to me didn't work. In the script, I also felt the movie had too much characters that were underdeveloped, though not as much as Chad - April's future husband- who I felt could have had a richer personality, other reasons to marry April, and do things that would explain why April feels that she wouldn't be happy with him and would prefer Perry instead. I also felt a loss of quality in the second part's cinematography, as if Zalman King lost interest to show some interesting visuals and found more important to see Fenn's body and not her male co-star.Now I am not saying that this movie was entirely bad. Like I said before: a very good first part and a not-that-impressive second part. But I think that Zalman King should have put more priority in his script and directing and not take too much interest on exploiting Sherilyn Fenn's nudity. Because that was when the film was losing quality and became something that didn't interested me as much as when it started.PS: For those of you that think this version is the original wide-screen version, be aware that this version is the full screen version. So that you won't be surprised when you receive your copy.

Steamy, Sensual, Sexy, Seductive
Firstly, Sherilyn Fenn is absolutely gorgeous in this movie, and I mean drop dead gorgeous. No matter how many times I watch this film, and it's been a few over the years, she never fails to take my breath away. Why she does not keep her hair colour this colour all the time is beyond me.Anyway, the story to the film concerns a restless spirit, gypsy type -Richard Tyson- who enters into an erotic affair with a rich southern belle -Sherilyn Fenn- who is due to be married. The chemistry between the two really sizzles and, accompanied by some great erotic music provided by Jonathan Elias, the movie creates a wonderful steamy but dangerous atmosphere. Anyone that has been in a situation where love has been forbidden will appreciate. There are also some fantastic tunes in the film "Trance" by Loria Jonzun is a mesmerising piece of music and George Thorogood lends his version of "Who Do You Love" to great effect. Buy this film and watch it alone with a bottle of your choice - it's magic.

DVD Two Moon Junction

Beautiful love story. My guilty pleasure...
This is a beautiful love story which is not too long or too short and has a good pace. I’d defintely watch this film again twice. A very enjoyable Sunday evening film. Sherilyn Flynn plays a rich girl engaged to be married to a handsome man from another aristocratic family. They seem happy enough, but it is revealed that in her teenage years she had a thing for ‘rugged’ men. She’s not ready to settle down and she obviously hasn’t had the experience with men she feels she needs yet, but is doing what is expected of her. A few weeks before her wedding she takes her 2 younger sisters to a fairground and sees another rugged guy she likes, but she’s no kid teen anymore. She’s now a bold 21 year old woman and this time the attraction is reciprocated. A stormy on-off affair soon follows while she remains engaged to her fiancée. Her interfering grandmother finds out and tries to drive her lover away, paying some policemen for help. The ending is interesting too and not completely predictable. There is a lot of nudity though which I forwarded. We also literally know nothing about her poor fiancée. Richard Tyson isn’t a bad looking guy, but I personally didn’t see the chemistry between him and Sherilyn, even though she suited her role well.
