Exact replacement that fit my 2009 GMC Sierra
parts arrived in about a week and were delivered in General Motors sealed plastic bags. These appear to be OEM parts and not knockoffs supplied by another company. I had to order these to replace one i damaged when i tried to remove it from the dash because the hinged cover broke off the chrome outer trim ring . There is an order to remove and replace these you must follow or you will damage them or the dash. You first must open the cover on the power port. Inside the port you will see two square holes not exactly straight across form each other. one is at about 8 oclock position and the other around the 2 oclock position. There is a small plastic tab in each of the square holes that must be bent inward to provide enough clearance the steel barrel or tube with the square holes can be slid foreward and removed thru the plastic chrome ring that has the port cap hinged on the bottom. once the barrel is slid foreward and out of the dash you press the release tab and remove the 12 volt plug and wires from the back. i tied mine with a string so they would not fall back inside the dash. once the barrel and plug are seperated and the barrel removed there are two tabs on the outer chrome trim ring that holds the port cover that are now able to bend inward as you pull the cap foreward and out of the dash. IMPORTANT!...... CHROME OUTER TRIM RING CANNOT BE REMOVED WITHOUT THE CENTER METAL PORT TUBE BEING REMOVED FIRST, BY REMOVING THE CENTER METAL PORT TUBE IT LETS THE CHROME PLASTIC TRIM RING TWO TABS MOVE INWARD WHEN PULLING THE CHROME TRIM RING FOREWARD AND OUT OF THE DASH. IF YOU TRY TO REMOVE THE OUTER CHROME TRIM RING WITHOUT REMOVING THE CENTER METAL PORT TUBE THE PLASTIC TABS CANNOT MOVE INWARD BECAUSE THE CENTER PORT TUBE IS BLOCKING THE TABS............ IMPORT PART TWO.........WHEN YOU PUSH THE TWO TABS INWARD SO YOU CAN SLIDE THE CENTER PORT TUBE FOREWARD TO REMOVE IT, IF YOU DESTORT THE METAL BARREL PUSHING THE PLASTIC TABS FREE OF THE TWO SQUARE HOLES THE BARREL WILL NOT SLIDE FOREWARD AND OUT OF THE CHROME TRIM RING. I MADE THIS MISTAKE AND HAD TO REMOVE THE LOWER PORTION OF THE DASH AND REMOVE THE BARREL FROM THE BACK SIDE ONCE I GOT IT OUT........ THE TWO TABS NEED TO BE BENT INWARD WITHOUT PRYING OR BENDING ON THE METAL TUBE WITH THE SQUARE HOLES! UTUBE VIDEOS ARE HELPFULL.

Solved my issue for 6 months
My outlet did not work, but the plug had power that goes into it, so I replace the outlet with this one and then six months later it stopped, allowing power through it. The plug still had power. I do stress the outlet charging my portable power station, causing it to draw about 12 amps for a few hours, a few times a month usually. Since this has happened again, I will say it’s not very robust

It’s says it doesn’t fit a 2011 Colorado but it does!
It is a GM part and not a knock off, I got the covers off of my old one without the tool it says you need. These plugged in easily and works well.

I put these on my 07 chevy tahoe and they do fit. Amazon says it does not but on other websites the same model says it did fit so i ordered them on amazon since it was better price but they did fit nicely and work good.
