Doris Kearns Goodwin is one of the very best writers there is in America. She knows her subject so well you will leave your world behind while basking in her revelations. A complete delight and a Pulitzer prize winner! It will just make you want to read all her books!

I purchased this set as a gift because these were some of the best books I had ever read. Entertaining, informative, and well researched - this author truly brings history to life.The box set is beautiful and I was extremely pleased, though it is surprisingly heavy. I wouldn't hesitate the give it again, just don't drop it on your foot.

Doris Kearns Goodwin is an excellent historian whose writing style is very accessible. Reading her work is always enjoyable as well as informative.

A very detailed work on three presidents that shape the USA. I am still reading them, but so far I have enjoyed the level of detail and the approach. Learning about these great leaders help us to keep high our leadership standards.
