BEAUTIFUL SMALL METAL GRATER AND WOODEN BOX SET
This grater is well made and practical- the cheese or spice grates into the wooded box. It is a delight to use and can be left on the counter or tabletop. Well worth the price and shipment from Germany. I have been looking for something like it for years. It is durable and will last for years to come.

Not for everything
The grater holes are too small. It cannot be used for zests from lemons or oranges. Even soft cheeses will clog the holes.

A new experience in dining.
Nice piece. Sturdy. The holes seemed a little small at first and the cheese was grated very fine but upon trying it we found that it diffuses better when it's fine so that it compliments the food rather than competes with it. Well done. Oh, and pressing and twisting works better than the traditional 'scraping'.
