The bar is sturdy, fits perfectly in the doorway and has multiple uses. Works well for floor exercises.

I have a really thick door frame and have not been about to find a suitable pullup bar for the last few years after moving to a new home. I used to have an iron gym door frame pullup bar that was excellent but didn't fit the wide door frame.For a while I've had a pullup bar that installed inside the doorframe that lodges the . That system was sturdy enough but the tightening mechanism was where my hands wanted to be for maximum comfort and it was not wide enough, limiting my elbow movement.I finally found a pullup bar that would fit the door frame thickness. It feels really sturdy and lets me position my hands comfortably. I thought the cushioning might have been too much but I realized it lets me use the bar comfortably without taking my ring off so that is a plus. I also love having a center ring that lets me hang a light monster band to do warmup movements.I think it would be nice to have some more grip variation like a neutral grip but that might cut down on the compactness of the product when folded.I would absolutely buy it again.

I wanted a chinning bar that was easily put together, went up on the doorway easily and was high enough so I could use a resistance band as a pull-up aid. This bar satisfied all of those requirements: no parts to screw together, goes on the doorframe easily, and folds up easily to be stored under a bed. Also, the extra height of the bar allowed me to use the resistance bands and still get full extension on the pullups, as I barely touch the floor on the descent (I'm about 5' 7'' inches tall). The ability to use the bar off the doorway to do pushups is a nice extra, although, obviously, I could do those without the bar. I have not tried the use of the straps that connect to the bar, as I would have to put up the bar on a different doorframe where I would have sufficient space to use it for that purpose. One very minor point: the use of decal letters to spell out "iron age" on the bar was ridiculous, and tended to cheapen the look of the item, as the letters fell off the bar immediately upon usage. The company should either do something more permanent, like etching the metal in the bar, or desist from bothering with the name.

I've tried many pull up door frame bars and this is easily quite the best one by far. Rock solid, doesn't budge and took mere minutes to figure out how to setup. It even just barely fits my 40 inch wide door frame, although I wouldn't generally recommend that. Standard 36 inch door will work perfectly.Now I can finally get to work doing dead hangs and scapular pull ups to begin healing my shoulders.This also came with good quality straps to connect and do body weight exercises as an added bonus.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I am so glad I picked this up when I did. Got it for $ 65.99 and now I see similar products being sold for nearly 3X as much. Overall very easy to install. Do make sure you have clearance in your doorway before purchasing though. I found that there were only two doorways in my house that I could use this with but it's no fault of the product. The sticker is losing its adhesive so it comes off pretty easily but it's not a problem. It works and I got a pretty good deal on it. It comes with suspension straps that is a neat bonus but I haven't incorporated them in to any of my exercises. They feel pretty sturdy though.

This is the best pull-up bar I’ve ever used. It’s very stone and durable, not only that but the collapsible function makes it easy to store and take to places. Great product
