Laboratory Manual for Clinical Anatomy and Physiology for Veterinary Technicians

Arrived in good condition and fast!

I bought this to accompany the Bassert Anatomy & Physiology textbook that Penn Foster assigns for the Veterinary Academy students. It's an AMAZING book! Follows right along with the first A&P book, however, it doesnt include the chapter 2 biology section. Which was fine, because I just used my Biology book if I needed a refresher on anything or needed to read more in depth about a topic.The diagrams in the book are amazing. It's such an awesome study tool eith all of the practice questions and diagrams you can label. I bought my book new to avoid anything written in it, but even if you do buy it used, you can just use white out to cover up any writings or answers if you wanted to.This book helps to explain things differently and that helps a lot if you confused or dont quite understand a topic. I know it can seem expensive, but trust me, it's absolutely worth the money!

This is a wonderful laboratory manual. In regards to other people's reviews... this is NOT meant to be a replacement for the textbook. It is difficult to read by itself but if you read the actual textbook and follow along with the laboratory manual, it makes perfect sense! And the answers are available on Evolve's website. Just follow the instructions on the inside flap of the manual. I highly recommend this laboratory manual to help with retaining the information in the actual textbook. It may be redundant a bit, but redundancy has been shown to help with cognitive memory.***EDIT 3/28/16***After contacting Evolve Customer Support, I have been informed that the answers to the Lab Manual's exercises are only available in the Instructor's resources. The answers that you can access are for the Test Yourself Questions in the textbook, not the lab manual. I still highly recommend this lab manual because it does help reiterate things for me. If you want the answers to the Lab Manual exercises, please contact your instructor. Or you could just take a bit more time and recheck your work to see if you are correct.

I ordered this book for my Anatomy and Physiology class as it was one of the required textbooks. Item received was as described and arrived in a timely manner and book was in such good condition it could’ve passed for BRAND NEW. It shipped out quicker than expected and was received before the promised delivery date

Bought new, definately worth it. Definately helpful when you're taking anatomy and physio. This lab manual will definately help you with land marks and real life images. Images are graphic but hey vet med is graphic get used to it.

The time I had to wait for the book to arrive was long. But the book itself is in decent condition. Written in and used, but it works

Great book to use in conjunction with the textbook. Has a lot of extras the textbook doesn’t have to help breakdown, retain and put into practice what you are learning. Highly recommend!

Exactly what the curriculum required.

The book is great. Lots of pictures and has lots of questions to further your knowledge...... Sort of.Except that it offers no help for when you need it to study, as there is no answers attached to the book and the only way to get access is for your prof to register the book though the school, then through the book company, then ask for permission with the company in order to finally get answers. Knowing this disclosure would have stopped me from buying this book for sure.
