A Unique Format For A Unique Read - Wisdom In Short Order
A really unique format that's unlike any book on your shelf. It's accessible, helpful, actionable and at times convicting. If you lead or manage people or you want to in the future this book has 500 insights to life and leading that it will help you become better at what you do and what you strive to do.I've always been contrarian when it comes to how speakers love to be "quoteable" or have those gimicky "one-liners" that make up the meat of their message. At first glance this book looked to be an anthology of the antithesis of what I would read or recommend but Scott Hagan has packed some transcendent wisdom into very few characters; which is O'so appropriate in a world where we try and speak with just 140 (i.e. Twitter).I recommend this book without reservation. At worst it will be an encouragement and at best it will help you affect the world around you for the better.

Book did not arrive new
Love the book but bummed that it was signed to a "Karen" by the author. I bought this as a gift and could not give it to them because of that. On the front of the cover there was something spilled.

I guess good for conversation.
Some good quote; few memorable. No substitute for the word of God and its list of leaders.

Leadership GOLD
There is a language of influence that our culture is desperate to hear. I have read through these 500 insights for life and leading twice already and have seen them used in various settings including: corporate America, sports, churches, and other organizations. Each thought is completely original and is presented in a refreshing, easy to read layout. Scott is a leader of leaders. He is an influence in the lives of those who influence others. Don't just purchase one copy, get a bunch and hand out to your board members, co-workers, employers, employees, and they will thank you for challenging them to be a better leader.
