SCHLAGEF58 CEN 619 Century Exterior Handleset with Deadbolt, Satin Nickel (Exterior Half Only)

Let me first start by saying that this is a great-looking product that really packs a "wow" factor on the front door. Will certainly add curb appeal to any contemporary or Arts & Crafts movement home. My only complaint revolves around the item description which stated "solid..." but stopped there. When I looked at other Schlage items in this price range, the descriptions stated "solid brass." Naturally I assumed the "solid..." meant "solid brass." It did not. I believe what they meant to write was "solid metal," and that would have been more accurate. The items are made out of a base metal, which is not nearly as heavy or durable as one would enjoy with a solid brass product (such as that offered by Baldwin). That said, the price point is significantly less than Baldwin, and the end product is just as beautiful. As an added bonus, installation was a breeze!

I really like this hardware set, but it came in a plain box that is probably used to send to commercial distributors for their installers to use, so it didn't have any jazzy packaging (no big deal). It was missing a screw and washer and I went to Lowes and they happily helped me find the pieces to replace the missing ones. They apparently thought I had purchased the hardware set from them. ?? It all worked out in the end!

Schlage is a great product!

It's OK. The through the door post doesn't match up with any of the other inside door knobs I tried to buy with this, and it didn't have the round cap to cover the inside part of the door where the bottom bolt goes through the door. Yes its "Exterior only" but I don't know where I'll be able to get that specific round bit of metal - so door currently looks like crap on the inside.

bought this for our new house and LOVE the look on the front door! However, when I ordered I noticed everyone said it needed item F59 with it as well, which I also ordered. Come to find out I did NOT need it and was just outside the return window with Amazon. I reached out to customer service and they helped me out but I would say if you want just F58, it came with all the components I needed for my front door. Buy that and once you look at the components, if you still need more then you can order them but don't go buying everything all at once. Or if you do don't wait until the front door is nicely painted to install it and find out you are then outside the return window. Overall I am very happy with the look and feel of the product both from the front of the house and the door view from the living room.

This is the second time ordering and the back door handle is missing from both orders.

Sounds crazy, but I had a "mid-century" door fabricated for a house just purchased. The house is 50+ years old. I installed this hardware on the door, and it looks so authentic, it adds a new "modern" twist to a "50's revival door. I really love the way it looks. In addition, the hardware is heavy, quality, smooth mechanism for opening door. It worked out perfectly. I was a little hesitant to use this type of hardware, I didn't think I'd like the latch (verses a knob), but it looks so good, and operates so smoothly, that I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend. Shipped quickly.

We are very happy with this purchase. It is a replacement for an identical handle we purchased 6 years ago. The original was very difficult to open (the thumb pressure required to open was too much for many of our visitors). Our new purchase requires very little thumb pressure. We should have returned the original, but thought it was "normal." As a side note, the nickel plating has started to come off around the edges of the original handle. We aren't happy with that, but have too many to replace to do it.

No me di cuenta al comprar que el producto necesita de la parte interior F59 para funcionar. Por sí solo no sirve, se deben hacer 2 compras. Me llevé la sorpresa hasta el día que lo instalarían. Me parece que deberían vender el producto completo.

Should come with the handle on the other side. Overall satisfied. Does look beautiful!
