Outstanding Large Lionel Covered Bridge!
This covered bridge is awesome for the price. I kit bashed mine and painted it weathered red the results were very good. This bridge does require assembly but for me that made it much easier to paint. The screws are small so be carful when assembling don’t torque them down to far in the plastic so the holes don’t strip. The bridge looks awesome and I could not be happier with my purchase..

It’s a tunnel
I’m new with model trains but I know the brand Lionel. I bought this for my son's new train set up. For a Lionel brand, I thought the quality would be better. It’s not the hardest thing to put together but it will take you some time. The screws are very tiny and not in the easiest of places to screw. I didn’t know I would need to wire this thing for the lights to work. Now, I need to spend more if I want the lights to work. Again, it’s not the hardest thing to assemble but it’s not the easiest. If you have carpal tunnel or bad hands you will not be able to assemble this bridge.

This will require wiring to light up, but my son’s loves it!
Very neat addition to my son’s O scale train set.

You need an accessory hookup on your switch, or a connector for the lights to work.
This is a great, sturdy addition to my son's o-gauge polar express freight set. But beware, the bridge is very big. It is over two feet long. His train has trees that go in the freight car and the tunnel is just a hair too short to accommodate them. Lots of pros and a few cons. The screws are tiny and it takes longer than you would think to assemble. Mine also came with less screws than were mentioned in the instructions and they were two different kinds. This means essentially that you have to leave a couple of screws out when you attach the roof. All in all, it is structurally sound. The second issue is that the light cord is very short, like less than 6 in which limits where you can place it pretty significantly. With a little wiring, which is simple, it is much more serviceable. After some research I found that #16 AWG wire is the perfect kind to extend it. Essentially you can just wrap it around the accessory cord and wrap it in electrical tape and then you buy yourself a lot more flexibility. Mine works perfectly that way. All in all a great addition with a bit of tweaking!

very cool
This saved me a ton of time building something. This is for a train/train station for a Christmas village- larger scale train so the size is right. It's black in color so I may dust it with rust colored primer to make it look weathered.

Get a wired track for inside the tunnel.
I liked its size and authenticity.

Garbage
Enjoy most of Lionel products but this one is complete garbage, avoid it. Cheap looking, almost impossible to assemble, comes with two different size bolts and doesn’t tell you which ones to use and they strip incredibly easily. What a waste of money.
