Fits properly
Appears well made & files properly. Obviates annoyance of having to have a separate tripod plate. If it proves to be durable, it's an excellent purchase.

A cheaper alternative to the Kirk or RRS lens foot
When I first received the lens foot and put it on my lens, I could not tighten the knob sufficiently on the lens to where the foot was not loose. I removed the foot from the lens, tightened it on and off a few times, and then put it back on the lens. Now when tightening it on the lens, it is rock solid and does not wiggle at all.It's a nice lens foot at a far more reasonable price than the Kirk or RRS lens feet. I would purchase this again if I had to do it all over.

The machining is inferior
The foot fits too tight and I have problems getting if off and on my lens. I tried the RRS foot from my 80-400 and it worked perfectly. Of course the RRS foot costs almost three times as much but you don't want your equipment getting in the way when your are trying to photograph.

Don't hesitate because of the 'lesser' brand. Good kit here.
I was reluctant to buy a lesser known brand. I had considered several at twice the price and more. I'm glad my wallet made the decision.This is quality kit and looks and feels nice on the lens. The Arca Swiss plate fits precisely in my Arca Swiss quick release mounts and secures as good or better than any other plate I've tried.Go ahead and buy this item. You will not be disappointed.

Does not fit both Nikon 70-200 F2.8 VR and VRII lens. Re-work required
could not fit properly. Need re-works!Update (11 April 2016):Re-work procedures:1. Remove the retaining screw2. Remove the tightening shaft assembly3. Add two washers and one spring washer to the tightening shaft assembly4. Re-install the tightening shaft assembly.5. Done

The way the plate should be
Do yourself a favor and replace the original part and a standard tripod quick release plate (which likely twists when it should hold) with this piece. Now you always have tripod mount and quick release plate in one and there's no more accidental twisting. Works and looks great

Might work, might not.
Mine is a mixed bag sort of review. I bought this for economic reasons, but when I mounted the bracket the base was "wiggly" as it didn't set tight. I read a bit here and there and discovered that the mounting plate on the collar could be a problem, so ended up tightening those down as they were loose.Problem solved? Unfortunately not. Still wiggled around a bit, which is a bit annoying for sports photography on a monopod. I ended up getting the product from Really Right Stuff for a little over twice the price, but it fit snug and tight and had no problems at all with movement.Moral of the story? If this could work for you and if it does - grand. But it may not so you should know this going in.

使用している雲台がアルカスイスのため、AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR用に購入。他メーカーからも同レンズ専用のレンズフットがいくつか出ていますが、価格差に見合うメリットが感じられずこちらにしました。まだ数回しか使用していませんが、ガタつきなくしっかり取り付けられ、現時点で製品の剛性、質感、精度に全く不満はありません。非常にコストパフォーマンスの高い製品だと思います。

アルカスイス互換化して楽々
純正と比べて違和感無し。アルカスイス化出来て、機材運用が楽チンです。但し、取り付ける相手側は選ぶところがあります。取り付かないわけではないですが、はまりづらい物もあります。

スマートになった。
純正に比べ全高が低くなり、スマートになった。質感も良く、ガタツキなどもなく満足。ロック解除のレバーが大きく邪魔だったので、ヤスリにて修正した。

ガタつきありませんか？
The media could not be loaded. 本日到着したのですが三脚座をレンズに取り付けて横の締め付けノブを締め切っても全く固定出来ません。不良品なのでしょうか？動画は目一杯締め付けた状態です。

ガタつきがあるなどのレビューを見て気にしながら購入しましたが、私が購入した個体はそのようなことはなくガッチリ固定出来ました。この値段でこのクオリティは大変満足です。
