Michael Myers Deluxe Mask

I looked high and low... I have been searching for the ultimate Myers mask for years, and kept coming back to this one. I would be ready to buy it and at the last second, I'd change my mind. The reviews are very mixed and this made me nervous. This year, I said, " to hell with it!", I'm ordering it.Just like the other tall gentleman, I like to use my 6'7" frame to full advantage, and along with my "spruce Green" coveralls, and a tiny bit of easy touch ups to the mask, and my costume is perfect. It's a super high quality mask that fits my head perfectly. It's very comfortable and durable. It looks great right out of the box, but if you go to YouTube and watch a few customizing videos, your mask will be AWESOME. I got into full costume and walked down a busy street last night and TOTALLY FREAKED PEOPLE OUT! it was great.Do yourself a big favor and get this mask. It's the best non indy mask your gonna find. With all the Kirk legal issues, a store bought true to form Myers mask is simply not gonna happen, so GET THIS ONE!Or... No, don't get it. So I can be the guy with the better mask.Thank you, DON POST!

It really is authentic looking in person and well made, you definitely get what you pay for. This year is the first year I'll be dressing up for Halloween since I graduated high school back in the early 90's and I wanted to do it right by being the classic Halloween character, Michael Myers. I also bought navy blue mechanic's coveralls, and a fake bloddy machete to complete my costume. (I know that Michael Myers didn't use a machete, but I couldn't find a fake long knife like he used in the original 1978 movie so the machete will have to do.)Last Friday I had a Halloween Movie Night over my house where we watched a couple of scary movies including the original Halloween. Toward the end of the movie I sneaked out of the room to put my costume on and when I came back, I stood behind the couch and hovered slightly over my friend's wife. When she saw everyone glancing behind her she turned around, saw me, then jumped off the couch scared out of her mind. I can't think of a better way to endorse this mask than by her reaction. After being punched in the arm a few times, I asked everyone's opinion of my costume and they all agreed it was really good.So, if you're looking to dress up as Michael Myers, buy this mask and you'll look like the real thing.

If you want a high quality Michael Meyers mask, this is the way to go! Very well made, looks authentic and my husband managed to scare me with it in a very short amount of time! Lol The only reason it doesn't have 4 stars is 1) the hair will take some managing to make it look natural. If you follow the styling directions with the mask it tells you how to brush the hair with minimal breakage. 2) Strong latex smell, but I'm sure its because its brand new. My husband said it needs to be a little tighter fitting in the back but that's easily fixed. I would highly recommend this!

I've read many reviews of 'The Mask' and I was expecting to do quite a bit of 'paint enhancement' to get something that looks like The Shape. Well I opened my shipment today and this looks AWESOME! It already has many facial highlights and some facial contours. I may touch-up the lips a little and some darkening around the eyes... but this is the one to buy if you want to transform yourself into Michael Meyers!I've made my own mask display and stuffed a towel inside. One side of the head was a bit lopsided so I hit it 'gently' with a heat gun and I will let it set overnight. Other than these few little mods this mask is going to scare the beejeebers out of some kids on Halloween Night! :)I already have a pair of the Red Kap coveralls and will start making the knife tomorrow.So come Halloween and you're walking along some dark lonely alley and you see Michael Meyers approaching... relax! It's only me...Maybe... BwaaaaaHaaaaHaaaa!

Great mask for your money, really looks like michael. I gotta admitt though it doseint look exactly like the picture, and it is for people with big heads. If it doesint fit you, you can totally customize it so that it will. I taped the opening up so the mask wouldint look fat like mentioned in other reviews. & as of right now I just glued a circle of clean sponge into the back near the head. Before I was able to buy the sponge today at "michaels", I had the mask stuffed with tissue paper like instructed on the tag. Which ever one you deceide to use the tissue paper or the sponge(i suggest the sponge if you can buy it) along with the tape in the back will really help and prevent the mask from looking fat, and give it a nice personal fit. If you want like other reviews, you can add your own detail around the eyes for a more darker look. But I didn't do that, I rather paint my eyes then put on the mask. Creepier & you don't ruin the mask. One more thing the hair is glued at first, but you just have to pull it apart slowly without pulling it out. Then you can comb it, or style it, for a more OG Michael myers look.

I had one exactly like this many years ago that melted in the Texas heat in storage. Bought this without hesitation. The hair is very matted down when it arrives, so you'll have to mess it up and give it some life. My one complaint is that it's flattened when packaged (had the same issue with the one I bought a few years ago) and that plus the constant heat of Texas completely warps the overall shape of the mask. I had to stuff it with shirts and take a hot hair dryer to it to restore the shape and get some of the wrinkles out. Excellent mask, though. Much much better than the poorly made ones found in local Halloween shops.

Thank you for the good quality mask. It is a gift for Christmas for my son who will turn 21 on Nov. 26 and he loves portraying Michael Myers for Halloween. He had borrowed his cousins and this year I finally decided enough is enough my son needs his own. I looked and looked and your company had the best looking mask and at a good price.
