What are the globes made of? Is it lapis lazuli?

well, they look like table globes (miniature & larger) that I saw in a boutique at The Mirage in Las Vegas years ago; my sis bought me one for my birthday. I bought another (I think); both are on a side table in my home. I saw a larger version in TJMAXX. I bought the cufflinks because of the similarity to the table globes. lapis lazuli has flecks of gold in it; so, if u look closely & do not see gold, then perhaps they my be a high quality stone that is dyed. I suggest that u contact mrcuff directly. they are cool 'cause the globes spin. good luck!
