Aroy-D PACK, Young Green Jackfruit In Brine, 1 Ounce, (Pack of 2)

TikTok inspired me to try AROY-D Young Green Jackfruit, and I’m so glad I did! I used it to make BBQ “chicken” sliders, and they turned out fantastic for my first time. The texture of the jackfruit is ideal for shredding, but it did take a bit of work to prep—there were small white seeds I had to remove, and I rinsed it well to reduce the natural flavor. Once seasoned, it took on the BBQ flavor perfectly and was a great meat alternative. If you’re up for a little prep work, this jackfruit is totally worth it!

The tough part must be cut, and ideally you should rinse off the original liquid. I'm not a vegetarian but I understand why green jackfruit is cherished by vegetarians. You can make green jackfruit resemble pulled pork!

Not sure if it was damaged in shipping or beforehand but very frustrating to have both can damaged and no way to return them

I used the jackfruit to make vegan ribs. They were delicious! The jackfruit was so easy to cook with. Also made taquitos. I would have added a picture but my family devoured them!I'm about to place another order for this totally amazing and delicious and versatile jackfruit. It makes being vegan easy, nutritious and delicious 😋

They wrapped it in bubble wrap, but the cans were dented anyway. This is a good product and is fresh but it was definitely mishandled in the preparation to send,.

Exactly as advertised. Seller even bubble wrapped the cans.
