Mizuno Youth Slider Kneepad

We bought it to protect my son’s knee when he slides. It Fit great and protected well. He said it was comfortable. It seems to be a fair quality and performed well.

Must have for baseball or softball players to save the knees . This has a great quality and thick knee pad to it and it’s helped both my kids play in recreation ball and know into travel ball . The washability is amazing as I just have them dump out the dirt then I’m able to throw it into the washer without scrubbing and all the mess and grim will come out . They find it’s comfortable, stable and works well for when they slide and doesn’t move around when they do so .

My daughter is petite, but don't let her size fool you! At 5 foot tall, she is triple threat slapper. Can hit the gaps, chop the ball over the infield, slap for power and can hit the long ball. She is typically the fastest girl on the team and slides all the time. Purchased the adult slider kneepad but was a little too big, maybe in a year when the time in the gym helps with her leg strength. This is actually her 2nd Mizuno knee pad, the 1st one lasted a few years when she was much younger. She moved away from this pad for a while and used a volleyball kneed pad as it was thicker and protected more area of her knee and shin. Over time she perfected her sliding technique and wanted something smaller and thinner as the volleyball bad didn't breath well. This pad is very flexible, doesn't provide a lot of padding but if your player slides correctly you won't need a thick pad. She wears it every game, sometimes for 4 games in a day. Good product and I highly recommend.

I bought this knee pad for my 11 yr. old son for when he slides at baseball. He tends to scrape his knee quite a bit between sports and school. Sliding when stealing bases reopens the abrasion. This time around he had been reopening the same scrape 3-4 times a week and it had been a month since it was originally scraped. This knee pad has been a wonderful addition to his gear. his knee was finally able to heal and has not been scraped since he started wearing this. For reference, he is about 5' and 90lbs. It fits snug but not too tight. Worth the cost to save his knees.

Fits real nice on 11 year old. Doesn't slip and is comformtable enough to wear for a couple hours. Just enough padding to protect but not so much as to be cumbersome. Size Note: the youth model is good for up to 14" diameter at the the lower thigh (just above the knee) . Any leg larger then I recommend the adult model. I like that it is made of a fabric blend and not the neoprene. I have found on other knee braces that as the leg sweats the neoprene slides.

I looked everywhere for knee protection for my son to use for wrestling. No one sold youth size and everything else on amazon was too thin or way too bulky for wrestling. These have just the right amount of padding to protect his knees but not too much to restrict his movement. The padding is squishy and not stiff like some other kneepads. Well made and sturdy. The youth size fits my 10 year old (his knee measures 12" just above the knee)

My 13-year old daughter is a pretty serious soccer player. As the intensity of her play has increased, so has the frequency with which she is coming away from games with bloody knees. One of her favorite plays is a sliding tackle … effective, but not great for your skin. I decided to give these slider knee pads a try, and since she started using them four weeks ago she has not had a single knee injury. The knee pads are staying in place, and are holding up well under the abuse. I highly recommend them. I struggled with sizing. Specifically, these pads come in two,and only two sizes: Youth and Adult. We purchased both, and for my 5’3” 105-pound daughter, the Youth were the better fit. Soccer is a lot more active than baseball or softball (sorry, but it’s true), and either Adult or Youth would have served her just fine for either of those sports (speaking from experience, as she also plays softball). But with the continuous running and movement in soccer, the Adult were just a little too loose for her.

This has been our go-to knee pad for my kids to keep them sliding on the dirt field. We have them wear the knee pads under the pants so they last longer. However, still seem to stand up to sliding for more than a season. Good durability.

Bought these twice, one pair for each daughter. They both play fastpitch and do a lot of sliding, and these kneepads have saved their knees all season. No scrapes, no bruises, and they stay comfortable during games. They fit well under pants, stay in place, and clean up easily. Quality is excellent and they hold up to constant use. Highly recommend if your kids are active players who slide often.

These kneepads were a lifesaver. The kids play fastpitch and do a ton of sliding — these held up all season and kept their knees completely protected. No scrapes, no bruises, and no complaints. They stay in place, fit comfortably under pants, and wash up easily after games. The white color looks sharp too. If your kids slide a lot or play aggressive defense, these are absolutely worth it. Great quality and real peace of mind for parents.

One size fits all doesn't tell you it is a youth until AFTER you bought the item. Second time with the same company I will never deal with them again.
