Camelot The Build Board Game

Camelot The Build is an enjoyable game that is easily learned. I used it as an introduction to King Arthur and life in the Middle Ages. My students like the "scoreboard" around the edges instead of pencil and paper! I think it may take several more plays to fully understand the strategic possibilities of blocking other players to keep the lead. Sofar, we do lots of "leap frog" with our scores.

I bought this game mostly because it was a game I could play by myself. I then discovered that it's a great game for people who get easily confused by rules and have a hard time picking up new games. While this is not the most exciting game in the world, it is a good game to play when you just want some down time. It also has a really easy set-up, which is perfect for when you want to play a game but don't want to put much effort into getting the board ready. Clean up is also easy, which is another perk. I was pleasantly surprised by this game. While I normally enjoy the more intense strategy games, Camelot the Build balances out my game collection. It will never be the most played game on my shelf, but it is certainly handy to have around.

I played this game once with 4 people. It was a good game, but the turn order matters way too much. Also, it took a very long time for what seems like an extremely simple game. I didn't particularly care about winning or losing which is weird for me. It is certainly has unique game mechanics and the only other board game I've played that is similar would be Burrows, but I like that game much better. I'm sure after a few plays this game would take flight in a sense of strategy goes, but I own so many other better games that it is hard to come back to this one in particular.

This is a very fun and light game. There's not much too it but it is fun for several players.

Great game. Fun and makes you think. I definitely recommend it even for 7 year olds.

Fun game. Quick easy to setup. Play is quick and simple. Its a good game just not one of my all time favorites.

Good game that gets better the more you play it. Have to play it a few times to get the scoring down. A couple of the rules don't make sense.

Fits like a glove, wonderful quality, and beautiful color. I would not hesitate to recommend or purchase again!
