Surfer Rosa / Come on Pilgrim

This album is undoubtedly good! There's plenty of the Pixies' demented garage sound to rock out to. The only thing I didn't dig is that I felt the album got a bit old too fast. I don't feel that the songs had enough dept to keep me satisfied for a really long time.

Pixies' debut Come on Pilgrim is one of my favorite CDs of all time, and of course Surfer Rosa is excellent as well. This disc, which includes both albums in full, is the perfect way to become familiar with one of the greatest alternative bands of all time. Since both are worth owning, this is definitely the most inexpensive way to get them. Highly recommended.

If you like raw than this is for you. I like it. Like the Breeders better. Plus price is right. If you still are old school and but CD's like I do.

Classic

I was thrilled to reunite with this old friend! Having had this disk in the early 90’s, and losing it along the way, it was great to find. This has some of the best Pixies tracks.

Took a little while to get here but that's ok. It was a great item that's not easy to find and for a great price. No complaints.

Fabulous. If you love the Pixies, you'll certainly love this one.

Very good music,brings back memories

Absolutely fantastic album, I recently bought the Wave of Mutilation best of and fell in love with The Pixies, I'm even going to see them in my hometown of Manchester in December now. If you have any vague interest in The Pixies and you want to delve more into their world then look no further. BUY THIS ALBUM!

One of those classics that capture a bunch of songs written early in a band's career, with their rawness still intact.The best of what did come later was still pretty angular, but this is a great set of unpolished gems.My favourite spiky, surreal, abrasive singalong album of all time.

Bought this as my original is scratched due to overuse. There's really no need for me to sell how good this record is. A true Indy rock classic.
