DuncanToys Wooden Crossed Flags Tournament Yo-Yo, Varying Colors Medium

Got this today. I was a little disappointed when it came in yellow. Then I opened the package. It spun out the first few times but when I got it to work, it climbed up smoothly. if I compared it to the ride of a car, this thing would be a Rolls Royce! It does around the world easily and is perfectly finished, with almost no flaws. Its a great deal with the trick book, and a unique retro feel. If you want a high quality wooden yo yo, I would recommend this one. If you want one with unscrewable halves, don't get this.

I love the yo yo, but the string broke after about two weeks. That's the only problem i had with this product.

I bought this for my 60 year old dad who loves showing us kids how to yoyo like a pro growing up. It comes in a nice case and looks great. I didn't like the fact that it didn't come in an unfinished wood color (mine was blue) but it looks really nice. My dad added it to his shadow box of cool stuff.

Wanting to relive the experience I had with Duncan yoyos of my youth, I bought this model. It has been a disappointment. I was not able to make the yoyo sleep long enough to do the basic trick, Rock The Cradle, a trick I can easily perform. I have since bought a transaxle yoyo with which I can do all the tricks I remember and more. This old dog at 72 can still learn a few new tricks.

Glue that holds in wooden axle broke in two days, with minimal play. All tolled, probably played with the yoyo for an hour or so. The paint was poorly done. The one I received is a pretty cool fluorescent orange color. The white primer coat underneath had a bad run that went down inside the yoyo. One half of the yoyo appears to be slightly larger than the other, which results in a terribly unbalanced device. I felt the weight was too light, but that's a matter of preference. Seller was not good to deal with. Trying to figure easiest way to get replacement or refund. Gave them my name, email, phone number, and order number. They tell me with that information they are unable to locate my order. What?

I got this for my boyfriend's 24th (yes, that is correct) birthday. He is obsessed. His friends tried to use it but complained that the string was too long. My boyfriend is fairly good with a yo-yo and told him this was the best birthday present ever. He loved that it came with a manual to learn even more tricks. Just the right gift for experienced yo-yoers.

Got this for myself, but when I saw the cool packaging headlining 1955 (the year my dad was born) I had to give it to him for his birthday... He loves it! I did show him a couple moves, like how to use it. Super smooth and responsive and feels great in your hand, like the Imperial does... my personal favorite yo-yo!!! I may have to order another for myself, come to think of it.

I just started to yoyo last week and the yoyo that I started with is a triple play yoyo from Superyo.I was worried about my string so I ordered this one and I can tell that there is a difference between the wood style and the plastic style. If you are not an easy adjuster I suggest you try something else first.
