I have bought this several times now because it works so well for my needs.I had a squirrel or raccoon chewing on my new gray Azek deck steps. I had the company comeout and replace the step. But to keep it from chewing on it again I bought this Industrial OutdoorVelcro Tape. I stuck the hard (toothy side) to the place where they could get to to chew. It has beenon there now for several weeks through rain and 100 degree weather and still holding great. I also tookthe softer strip and put it on other places on the deck where they could possibly chew. It has also heldup great. AND it blends in with the deck so you don't notice it. Highly Recommend!

The VELCRO Brand Extreme Outdoor Heavy Duty Tape is fantastic! I’ve used it for various outdoor projects, and it holds up incredibly well against the elements. The velcro itself is great and stays together well. The adhesive side did not hold up as well on my exterior brick. I used the velcro for an extra-large bug screen net weighing less than 5 lbs. I used the velcro on the entire side top to bottom and it keeps pulling away from the brick. I've cleaned and prepped the area multiple times so pretty surprised it still won't hold. Also note, this velcro is not meant for fabric, which is why I sewed it to the fabric first.

This was used to hold and outdoor rug in place in a medium traffic area and held up for a couple of weeks with no water exposure. It was attached to a large plastic sheet that was clean and smooth. I'm sure in other use cases it might prove to be better but in this case it did not hold up.

This stuff is strong! I suggest cutting smaller strips, then if the holding power isn't quite there, adding more. I've used this is a few spots, but my most recent was to add a removeable wooden back to a cornhole/bags set I'd made. I needed a place to store my bags, and used some 1/4" plywood with this velcro to create a pocket for them. Each bag is ~1lb, so all together, 8ish lbs. Three strips of 3" or so, and the bags don't come out even with a shake. I've also used these with some little plywood dividers I made to create cargo divider space in the back of my hatchback. This is effective and cheaper than buying the plastic ones available online (assuming you have plywood scraps handy of course haha).I like to use a box cutter to cut my strips, because the adhesive back can muck up my scissors. I like that they included a tiny piece of loop material to hold the roll closed, but I still store my roll in the box to keep it free of any dust or debris kicked up in my shop. There are so many uses for this stuff around the house, and I love the increased hold.

In overall, this is a great product. I give it 5 stars. But I have noticed that when using these velcros in enclosed high humidity rooms (like a bathroom), they tend to fall of from the walls. The velcro itself works, but the adhesive to the wall fails. This has happened to me at least 6 times... On other places that are open, even if it rains on the velcro, they stay stick on the walls. Besides this issue, this is a great product.
