It is usually fine, but my bag has been pulled off the conveyor a couple times after seeing them on the X-ray. They always return it to me once they realize it's just a repair kit, though. **Q: I've tried to figure it out but.. what is the 1-pc. magnetic parts mat? it's not magnetized itself..** A: Only the white side of the parts mat is magnetic. If you try to put screws on the black side, they will not stick. It is also not very strongly magnetic, because that would make it very difficult to get the tiny screw such as those used in iPhones picked back up off of it. **Q: bits are made of chrome vanadium ?** A: I am not sure of there composition but, I can tell you that of the 3 set tool like the 28301, the bits are definitely higher quality. Probably won’t be the last time I purchase some of their tools. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Has just about fastener remover necessary for computer/tech repairs, plus some other essentials. *by T***T on December 2, 2024* I had the smaller kit, but one of the slotted heads bent, and since then, I've fumbled along. I also have a physically larger kit, but with less drivers. This one includes just about EVERY driver you might need - including pentalobes and tri-wings, essential for repairing a certain brand of computer/smartphone. it also has openers that look to be perfectly designed for lifting adhesive-secured surfaces. For those quick emergency repairs away from the workbench, it includes a magnetic mat that sits in one half of the clamshell case - a VERY practical inclusion. The only thing missing is a rivet head cutter for certain keyboard removal/replacements. Given my experience with the previous set, I would be more careful with the drivers, especially any that have thin edges - slots and tri-wings in particular.
