Works to keep raccoons out of deer feeders.
Ordered 3 of these for my husband who is battling raccoons. He has several deer feeders and they would empty them out. $$ The cages fit over where the corn comes out so they can't get there little hands in there any more. Liked them so much he had me order more. Will pay for themselves over time.

Test location with timer before installing
Works as expected. My only issue is that I mistakenly installed it centered on the bottom of the barrel and therefore centered on the controller. Problem is that the sliding door on the controller cannot fully open as it hits the cage. Best orientation is to locate the hinge of the cage door just slightly rearward of the controller, which will allow you clearance to drop the sliding door on the controller completely.

Nice but...
It is sturdy and well built however it was too small for me to use. Would be a better fit, if you do not have an extension between the barrel and spinner.

Nice product
Very nice varmint guard. I’m using it on moultrie feeder, so had to improvise to use with with electric spinner that is accessed thru bottom of cage as opposed to side loading as designed.

Wild Game Innovations Feeder
I have a older game feeder, I'm not sure how many gallons it is, but it holds about 150 lbs of corn! The varmint cage was to big in diameter for me to use the anchoring bolts it came with to secure the cage to the bottom of the feeder, but I was able to just Zip tie the cage to the game feeder legs and it works great!
