Fragrance gives me a headache and aggravates husband's allergies and the Hoover Free Deep Cleaner worked great and no smell or headache/allergies. Area rugs weren't that dirty, but was surprised how much dirt was removed. Just bought the Shark Carpet Expert BRN and used it the first time with this cleaner. Both worked great.

We are sensitive to strong fragrances. Most carpet cleaning solutions have way too much fragrance. This had barely any scent, and no strong perfume or cleaner smell. It also worked very well. Thank you for making a product for people with allergies.

I'll start by saying that I love the Hoover carpet cleaner. I'm pretty sensitive to smells so I wanted to try a solution that doesn't have a scent. Because it's a chemical solution, of course it's going to have some smell. But I opened the windows and used a fan to help dry the carpet and the smell went away after a couple of days and didn't bother me too much. As for the results WOW. It got out really stubborn stains. I used this on carpet, my couch, and the interior of my car (cloth seats). Will buy again.

I've used this every 6 months on my carpets in my rental place and it works pretty well. Even though it's not as deep of a clean as I was expecting, it at least rinsed out well. Comparing this to other brands that claim the same, it's just shy of the better stuff for the same price. Still a great deal, and the scent is barely there which is what I prefer over very strong stuff.

I am sensitive to a lot of the fake-smelling or overpowering cleaning scents. I love that I don't have to worry about this one. I know I'm cleaning, but there's not really a scent at all and no headaches or difficulty breathing afterwards. I'm very happy with this cleaner.
