Don't Waste Your Time
This book is truly awful. If you want a well-researched, well-written biography this is not the one to get. It's filled with typos, misspellings, and terrible sentence structure. It looked like a first draft. Seriously, how did this get published? The bibliography consists of IMDB, Wikipedia, and Youtube. If you've seen the films, this book doesn't tell you anything you didn't already know. And if you haven't, I wouldn't trust this book as it lists Olivia Wilde as having played Ms. Cross in Rushmore. It was actually Olivia Williams. And Bill Murray did not play Henry in The Royal Tenenbaums. He played Margot's husband, Raleigh St. Clair. My advice, steer clear of this one.

Don't waste your money
I wanted to get a gift for my brother-in-law, who is a big fan of Wes Anderson, but this was disappointing. Luckily I like books so I flipped through this one before giving it to him. It reads like a childrens book. Or the clifnotes to a really good book. There was lots of space and the print is really big. It did not feel well put together. I bought the other one "The Wes Anderson Collection in Hardcover" and it is 100 times better. Full color photos. Actual writing. Perfect as a gift.

The one time I don't read reviews and of course I get burned
This is garbage. It is riddled with typos, contains almost no biographical information about Wes Anderson (certainly nothing that isn't on a generic web page), and it reads like it was written by a junior high school student. It seems to also want to be a study guide for the films, but offers little more than a seventh-grader's plot summary. You could try to use this book to cheat on your school assignments...but you'd get an F.

Waste of Paper
A waste of paper, this book is a C minus paper between covers. Atrocious prose, factual errors, and of 25 citations, 7 are Wikipedia and 8 IMDB. Shameful exploitation of Anderson's popularity.

Not enough book for your buck
Absolutely terrible. This book could have really been around 20 pages long. About every other page is blank. On top of that it is full of typos and incorrect facts. It briefly describes the movies and that's pretty much it. Just watch the movies. It has a few "fun facts" that are interesting but that's about it. Seriously, siting Wikipedia is breaking rule number one of journalism. I think at one time this was just a student's final for a writing class, and if that's so... F!

A lightweight and poorly written book
If you are looking for a biography of Wes Anderson, then I would not recommend this book.It is light on content, using a very large font, with lots of spacing and is little over 100 pages long. There are only 16 pages about Anderson's background and film-making style, and then the rest of the book is simply plot summaries of his films, with additional notes that I probably could have read on Wikipedia (in fact, IMDB and Wikipedia make up the bulk of references in the bibliography).Total rip off.

My son sought this to assist his studies of the ...
My son sought this to assist his studies of the man - not the film. As other reviewers have said, exceptionally deceptive title. 6 pages and then a list of films + plots. This may be what some folk as seeking but a biography it is NOT.

Don't bother
Looks like it was written in 10 mins and made at home. Useless and uniformative

A sham of a book
It is a sham of a book. The publication is based on a few press articles and wikipedia entries. Such a shame.
