If you want it to be a little more secure, it also came with wall anchors, which was a nice surprise. It seems sturdy and hefty, but not too heavy to move when you need to clean and there was no odd smell. I would absolutely recommend this item if you are in need of a new one or replacing an old one. Easy and fast to put together, feels high quality, came with all tools needed (just one Allen wrench), and looks nice. And clearly the kittens absolutely love it. I run a neonatal rescue foster program for kittens, little bottle feeders that need care for local pet orgs, and these ones are between 3 and 4 weeks old and they took to it immediately before I even had a chance to introduce them to it. They're still too little to understand the next floor up, but they are all over the first two floors. Hard to see in the pics is the little black kitten inside the round house too. The material is soft so they are loving the feel of it and immediately used the scratcher posts for scratchies.
