Everything but the compass met my expectations
Useful but not perfect. The light works and comes in handy all the time, whistle is loud enough for most situations, easily started fires with it and the blade works fine for small cuts, but the compass didn't last long. The Paracord is good too, so overall it's a good choice but the compass just failed after two weeks of use and doesn't float freely any more

Compass is Useless
Everything but the compass seems to work. The compass is toatally useless, I'd die before I' be able to navigate out of the Oregon mountains with this. It is also not adjustable size unless maybe bigger...

I love it but compass sticks
This is a well designed, very practical outdoors bracelet for sure.My only suggestion to manufacture is put a higher quality compass in this and charge a few cents more per bracelet. This compass works but it has to be tapped as it sticks, right out of the box.Doubt it will hold up long in outdoor conditions on the pacific northwest where I live.Other than that, the light is fantastic,as is the easy on off clasp.Very comfortable.Improve the compass quality and it's a 5 star.

Ferro rod and compass are a let down.
My first impressions: it latches securely. There's a good deal of cordage without it being uncomfortable or stiff. The flashlight is pretty bright. The whistle is loud and easy to blow. The ferro rod is a waste, it's hard to get to and even with a good striker it doesn't work. The compass kinda works but doesn't float freely.

Pretty Nice Product
Well worth the price.Things I like, A) the clasp is very nicely designed. It's easily removed but is unlikely to ever come off by itself, B) the knife blade is not serrated as it is in most of these products, C) the compass has a movable bezel ring, D) the compass seems to work OK while the bracelet is on the wrist; many of these require unclasping to get the knife away from the compass, E) light has three modes (on, fast flash, SOS flash) and is surprisingly bright. Batteries are replaceable.Things I don't like, A) no instructions packed with it, B) knife blade and flint are pretty difficult to remove from the body and required a separate tool (knife) to get them out C) both knife and flint are fully detached from the bracelet for use; they're small and easily dropped; due caution needed to avoid dropping and losing them if used in the rough/dark, D) switch for the light is flush with the body and pretty small; might be hard to find and activate in darkness, E) all four compass points are luminous, but are similar and small so it may be hard to determine which is which in the dark, F) don't know for sure, but suspect the light/switch may not be waterproof so not sure it would function if wet.Overall - I like it a lot, consider it a great value for the price and think it would be very useful if needed in an emergency. Have added it to my Geocaching backpack.

Good tools to have for emergency but rather large wrist band / lacks instruction
This item is pretty good to have for a survival/ emergency device because it has pretty much everything you may need for the outdoors. The first thing I will say is that the band is pretty strong. It is part of the survival tool. The down side of this is that the band is really big. It cannot be adjusted which is a bummer. If you have a big wrist this could work but for me it just falls off so I do not really choose to wear it for that reason. It has a n LED light. It has a compass, a small knife, and a fire starter. The LED light is pretty bright. It does use a coin battery that can be replaced easily. The light can give you up to I would say four feet of brightness. This is directional and not really meant for lantern like use. There is also emergency flash mode. The switch is on the side to turn the LED lights. There is a compass which works okay. There is a small knife and lighter for cutting and starting a fire. The knife is a very small tool. It literally is the size of my finger nail. I do not think this is really meant to cut big things and honesty I am not sure what you can cut with this really other than some fruit. It does have another function in that you use it to spark the starter rod. The rod takes a few strikes the first few times. You have to remove the top layer before it actually sparks so just scrape a few times and it should expose the layer underneath. You can turn the knife around and put it into the wrist to spark the flame. Another down side is that it lacks instructions on how to use this and what tools there are. I had to look at the website picture and even then it took me time to figure it all out. Overall this is a good tool to have for emergencies and such but it needs to come with some kind of instruction. The tools are not in one spot and all over the instructions and how to use them would be really nice. Another thing is to make the band adjustable somehow. If it is well I had no instruction to really help me know that. The band is huge and this bracelet actually just rolls off my wrist,

Love this!
I would give this 5 stars as I absolutely love it. However, it is HUGE on my wrist so I may have to attach it to my pack instead. Also, the back of the compass/light/whistle combo has SOS engraved in it. I thought, "that's pretty neat". But then I realised there is no morse code engraving. I did take my knife and whittled tiny dots and dashes for SOS underneath the engraving. This is only so if someone I am with doesn't know how to signal SOS with the light or whistle, they can follow that guide. ...---... I think it would be something good to consider for future variations if at all possible. Other than that, I am super happy about the product!!

Getting frustrated!!
I will re-evaluate this product when the correct item is sent. The first time I ordered the compass, I got the knife in the compass wrap; the second time I reordered the compass, I got the knife in the knife wrap ( see picture). I have now ordered the compass for the third time. Stay tuned for details.
