Great BIG cooler
I was looking for a cooler that would hold the 130 cans I like to take with me to the water park and this one is perfect! On a more serious note, this cooler is very very nice. It holds a LOT of stuff and keeps everything cold just like it promises. It has 4 spots on top to hold beverages and the cooler itself is big enough to serve as a mini table. The top opens as a whole or you can chose to just open one side as it is split in the middle. This cooler is BIG. That being said, it fits nicely in the trunk of my car so it is not so big that it becomes a problem. The rugged wheels and sturdy handle were an absolute must for me, as dragging this thing around would not be much fun if it didn’t roll. I think this might be the last cooler I ever need to buy as I can see it lasting many years and it does a great job of keeping everything cold. I highly recommend this product. This cooler is AMAZING! It will pay for itself if you camp or tailgate often! I went on a 4 day trip and loaded it up with 4 frozen gallon bottles of water and one 25 pound bag of ice (to provide loose water to fill in the gaps and keep everything cool). By the end of the 2nd day of the trip I realized I had better pull OUT 2 of the bottles if I wanted anything to drink. When I got home I had about 2 pints of UNFROZEN water in the gallon bottles, and about 1/3 of the bagged ice was still frozen. Now granted, this was in Nothern CA during weather in the 70's but I suspect that I would have found it performing very well even in hot weather. I am VERY satisfied with this purchase.By the way, it IS very large, but will still fit comfortably in a bear box with over half of the box left to spare for other essentials that need securing while camping.

Really good for the price
This ice chest is big, yet seems compact at the same time. The extra long handle was just convenient enough for someone who is 6'2". Someone taller will still be bending some to pull it. Kept items and ice cold for a couple days, but it was only about 1/5 full and the ice I was using was small and melted easily. I could tell a full cooler would stay cold for days. The only con is the drain plug is up above the wheel axle. So you have to have it at a pretty steep angle to actually drain water out.It is insanely good value (purchased for $40) compared to other ice chests. I will never have it away from an ice machine for a week, so a high end cooler was useless to me anyways.

Holds a Lot of Drinks!
Worked great for a recent birthday party that we threw for our 4-yr-old daughter at a local park. The cooler is very roomy. It held 24 bottled drinks, 20 canned drinks, and two 1-gallon jugs, plus enough ice to keep it all frosty. It was heavy to lift in and out of the car when it was full, but easy to pull around the park with the built-in wheels and handle. If you don't have the strength to lift it when full, you'll either want to get someone to help you or leave it empty until you get it on the ground and then fill it. The small white handles on either side make it easy for two people to lift it together.

Spring for one with better hinges.
We purchased this cooler a few weeks ago to take camping with us. The first thing I noticed are the flimsy plastic hinges (if you can even call them hinges..) attaching the lids. I doubt they are going to last long. They are just a piece of plastic that is thin in the middle where it creases to bend. The lid does not stay open, you have to hold it up. And I'm afraid someone is going to try to push the lid back too far and snap the hinges right off. I do like that it has wheels and is fairly easy to maneuver. Wish the drain spout sat a little lower, you have to tilt the cooler to drain most of the water out. And it is difficult to open the lid when closed, there's not much of a lip to hold on to to pull it open. My kids can't open it (but maybe that's a good thing?). As far as keeping things cold, it works about as well as our other coolers. I bought it because it was big, has wheels, and it's cheap. We will see how long it lasts, we have lots more camping trips to go on this summer.

Fishy Workmanship
Love the cooler but the quality of the hinges leaves something to be desired. We used the cooler merely to transport our catch home from vacation twice. Other than the two one-way transports we have not used the cooler. I was shocked to notice today that one of the hinges is broken in half. Not a big deal, but an inconvenience to now track down replacement hinges. We work hard to catch our fish, clams, crabs and oysters for the winter. Needless to say, it would be very upsetting to arrive home with 75 quarts of defrosted seafood.

Wow!! Great price, great performance!
First off, this is a huge cooler. I was skeptical about the ice retention claims. However, I loaded up on a Thursday morning (6am) and still had tons of ice on sunday!! It sat in the sun the entire time.A couple of tricks to keep ice longer.-get everything cold before you put it in the cooler. I usually put everything in the fridge a day before.-the day before I put two frozen 1 gallon water jugs in my cooler. This will get the cooler nice and cold before you load it up.-Fill it completely with ice.I saw a review that said they put one bag of ice in it and it didn't keep. Ofcourse it didn't, dummy!!

2nd day use and the hinge broke
Here in Hawaii it kept my ice for 4 days. I just can't believe it. I just used this cooler for the second time and the hinge broke.
