Looking for a replacement to my usual Matt Pomade, this stuff is great. Easy to apply and washes easily. Adds a bit of thickness/ texture to the hair. Not too shiny… Perf

This clay has really good hold! Works better than the other American crew products. I found it keeps hair looking Matte but does make it slightly dry so I tend to use just a little bit and top up as I do it

After using this for 2 years this is defo one of my favorite hair clays. It has a nice texture, decent hold, can re-shape your hair through out the day with a comb or fingers, no stickyness and not too tough or greasy. Its just got a nice balance. But why has it all of a sudden become hard to get hold of ? Its never available and the price just goes up and up. My alternatives are Tony & Guy matt clay or Lynx matt clay, but I think thats been discontinued. My hair style is a skin fade back and sides, with long hair on top combed back. If anyone is reading this and has a similar hair style as mine, please write a review with some alternate products or what works for them too, because us hair guys need good hair clays !

I used to use Moosehead Grubby Putty which has sadly been discontinued and after trying countless other products I’ve finally found something as good. Perfect for my hair, adds just the amount of style and control makes it feel great and smells superb as well.

I bought this for my teenage son who’s really picky about hair products. He wanted something with hold but no shine, and this totally delivered. It’s got a creamy texture so it’s easy to apply and doesn’t go flaky. The hold lasts all day but still looks natural—not stiff or sticky. It washes out easily too, which is a bonus. Smells fresh without being overpowering. He’s already asked me to get another one when it runs out, so that says it all!

El acabado mate es ideal, nada de reflejos raros. Mi pelo se ve natural, como si me acabara de levantar de la cama y mi peinado fuera producto de un talento divino (aunque sabemos que no es así 😂). ✔ Textura ligera: A pesar de ser un producto de fijación fuerte, no es pegajosa ni pesada. Se distribuye fácil y sin esfuerzos, y mi pelo no se siente grumoso ni apelmazado. ✔ Duración: El peinado se mantiene todo el día, sin necesidad de retoques. ¡Vas a estar listo para lo que venga, desde una reunión hasta un café con amigos! 👎 Lo que podría mejorar: ❌ Fragancia discreta: La fragancia es suave, casi inapreciable. Para algunos esto será un punto a favor, pero si eres de los que les gusta que su cera huela a algo fresco o con más personalidad, esto puede ser un "pero". ❌ Cantidad: Aunque 85 g es una cantidad bastante decente, si usas mucha cera cada día como yo, puede que se te acabe más rápido de lo que quisieras. 💡 Conclusión: Esta cera ha sido un verdadero descubrimiento. Si buscas un peinado con fijación media, natural y sin brillos, esta es tu opción. ¡Nunca pensé que algo tan simple como una cera pudiera hacerme sentir tan bien con mi look! Si quieres un acabado mate, cómodo y sin complicaciones, definitivamente te la recomiendo. 👏

Never used product in my hair before - my barber of several years tried many times over the years to convince me to try this out, finally did and found it amazing. I'm just not gonna tell her she was right. One thing to note - make sure your hair is somewhat wet when you use this, makes it much easier to use / shape your hair. if your hair is dry when you use this, it'll look like you have mud in your hair

It says matte, but it's very oily and gives a wet look even if you apply small amount. Only the smell and hold is good. But it's not matte look for sure.

J’utilise l’American Crew Matte Clay depuis plusieurs semaines maintenant, principalement pour un coiffage quotidien avec un rendu naturel, sans effet gras. Particulièrement adaptée aux cheveux courts à mi-longs. Je recommande sans hésiter pour un usage régulier.

Ho provato la cera per capelli American Crew e mi sono trovata molto bene.
