Truck Driver Tom Hardcover – October 4, 2007

My daughter loves this book. We got it from the library because she likes trucks and vehicles and I thought that the bright pictures would appeal to her. She liked it so much I bought a copy on Amazon and looked at the author's other books. She also loves firefighter Frank. The books are a great level for an 18 month old who is learning new words. We have taught her new words using the book and she can point the objects or items out on various pages. She loves the vehicles pictures.

I bought this book because my son was very upset when we had to return a copy to the library. He loves trucks and this book has so many! The pictures are very engaging, colorful, and exciting for kids. I like how they integrate texture and photos into some of the pages. There are so many different kinds of vehicles on each page and it's fun to have the kids find the various ones. Each scene is different: a farm scene, a city scene, construction scene, country scene, and more. My 4 year old daughter and almost 2 year old son adore this book and ask for it by name. I also like that most of the vehicles are labeled on a big layout in the back. The story is very cute too, and chronicles the day of a truck driver in a way a child can understand. I can't say anything bad about this book. Adorable.

This was one of my son's favorites when he was 3-4 years old. Remember ing this I bought it for my 3 year old nephew and he also loves it!

I had checked this book out from the library so many times that I finally decided to buy my own copy. It has been especiallly popular with little boys, who love to find Tom's truck and various other vehicles in the illustrations. The story line is simple; the colorful illustrations are the main draw.

The story is a child friendly version of real life truckers. My children love it. However this particular book is missing a huge part of a page, and had a big tear on another spread. Disappointing, but keeping anyway.

hours upon hours reading this book, from the time my son was 1.5 year old, still enjoys it at 5, dtr loves it as well at 2.5.

My grandson kept taking this book out of the library - it was his favorite book! Now he has his own copy and is very excited.

This is our third Book by Monica Wellington and we love them all. My 2 year old daughter loves this book, The book has many colorful details and story is easy to read, We want to collect them all.
