A young Scottish girl travels to London following her father's death. On a lark, she pretends to be a princess from a small country. Little does she know, there is such a place in reality and create confusion Russian and British diplomats. Sweet clean love story as are all her novels. Where the hero comes to the rescue.Not to spoil the story !! It is one of Barbara Cartland's better written novels!

Romance wins out but not until a few twists and turns that I didn't expect. Lovely ending. I enjoyed it greatly even if book cover and Ola have different color hair

Happy the heroine had a brain and quick butternut the plot was somewhat tedious and trying to grasp for reality.Also happy the heroines eyes didn't grill her whole face, small waist that every woman was jealous of, eyelashes ending in gold, small, petite, only barely reaching the hero's shoulder, goblet nails, graceful hands, and have a tinkeling laugh like all the rest of them do.

I love Barbara Cartland. Now that everything is being converted to digital, I can get rid of my paperback collection. I love the feature on my kindle that allows me to submit typo and formatting errors to help improve the copy for future buyers.

What starts out as a prank, turns into a spy story, complete with kidnapping, imprisonment and the Queen herself saving the day. Very entertaining
