ZFOsports - (Short Style 60LBS Adjustable Weighted Vest

This vest is awesome! Admittedly, I probably could have gone with a lighter one, as I don't foresee using more than about 30 lbs anytime soon, maybe 40 if I really stay with it. I love the added intensity that this adds to any workout - plyometrics, free weight workouts, or even just what would otherwise have been a light jog. I probably would have taken forever to figure out the straps on my own, but there are some good videos on youtube that show you how to PROPERLY put this thing together. I tend to have a bit of trouble getting the side straps off after a workout, which is really the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Well that, and I found it a little tough to remove some of the individual weights (however, that also tells you how wonderfully secured those things are when you have 2 to a pocket). Overall, I just have to say...GET THE VEST. Even if you get one that carries half the weight. Definitely get it from this manufacturer. It feels like quality and definitely amps up your workout...if you are not too self-conscious to walk around in a huge vest, haha...GET IT GET IT A+++

Bought to train a little more for backpacking trips and over all fitness goals. I almost bought the 80lb version, glad I went this one instead. A 60lb backpack carries a whole lot different than this, I know...duh! Loaded out to 60lbs this is more than I wanted but still good. The 3lb individual weights are tight in thier pouches but fit good. The one strap to hold the vest on seems at times to be less than enough to keep the vest from shifting when bending over and fast direction change moves but it hasn't fallen off or anything. Sure glad it is adjustable in weight as I wimped out the first time I tried it fully loaded. I have been useing on walks, squats, plyo box and step work etc and find it just what I wanted. You carry the weight high so sometimes balance due to being top heavy can come into play but it also isn't slapping you in the gut like some vests I have seen. I removed several bars and have since been slowly adding them back working my way up to the full 60lbs. Make sure you are ready and really need 60lbs of vest, but if you are this one is a good choice.

I was apprehensive on spending the extra money for the ZFS (instead of the ZFO), but I'm glad I did. I'm 5'8" and the vest ends just above my belly button. It really allows me to move my torso around without any issues. It's a very simple design, it just sits on the shoulders, and velcro straps are used to make it hug the chest and back. I bought it for hiking, so I won't be doing a lot of agility exercises, but I can tell if I run and jump around, the vest isn't going anywhere.It shipped with 42 pounds in the vest, and 18 pounds wrapped separately (there are six empty pouches for the extra weights). So far, the 42 pounds on the vest is enough for me, but I'm glad I can add the other 6 weights when the time comes.

I have been using this vest now for awhile and have to stay it works out great. The short design is ideal for moving around in the gym or doing sprints and other power movements. The adjustable weight bricks are awesome and really allow you to tailor the vest to your needs. The only gripe I have about it is the neck/shoulder area. The opening is not really contoured in any way so if you have broad shoulders and developed traps the weight will not be distributed evenly across the shoulder strap. Light bruising will probably occur, but it's nothing major. Overall this is a great addition to any workout equipment and can definitely help get you to the next level in achieving your goals.

For health reasons i need to build up my muscle strength as a part of recovery from an illness , i simply did not expect how much workout my upper body muscle will get just by walking to and from train station every day . In fact i can only do 4 days a week with half load , even though I am relatively strong .The belts and straps are not very convenient, but even with that 5 stars - it exercises the muscles you did not know you had and it exercises the press , which , in my experience, are most difficult to do

I haven't had a chance to used this that much, but the few times I used it, it has worked out fine. I am 5'7'' and this sits fine and its pretty comfortable. My only critique is that is tight around the neck, it wedges pretty heavily and makes it uncomfortable at times. I have tried to expand by placing it on my "Bob" punching back since I have the XXL dummy which has a large neck. this has helped a bit and has expanded the neck circumference in order to fit better.

Fits great. I have worn other vests in the past. Those vests fell off the shoulders and caused my shoulder to feel like it was separating. The other vests I have had also did not provide as much weight as this unit dose. It is a quality and sturdy vest. I am very happy with it. I can see that I am now getting use the weight and I really have no way to increase the weight in the vest

Enjoying this new piece of fitness equipment. Like the short cut of the vest as it allows great range of motion through the torso. Some early fraying has happened on a couple of the straps but it hsn't affected the vest and does not look like it will impact performance long term either. I was suprised how much of a pounding my upper traps took on longer runs at 25 lbs. Thought about some of the lesser expensive options but glad I decided on this one.
