Best brush I've ever owned
This brush is ideal for anyone looking to improve the quality of their hair, prevent roots from becoming dry and from splitting, rebalance natural hair oils to prevent roots from constantly getting greasy, and anyone who has struggled to grow out their hair. This brush is the perfect size: it's big enough to be efficient, and it's small enough to fit in your purse and painlessly detangle knots that get stuck anywhere from ends to roots. I use this brush by starting towards the ends of my hair, getting those knots out, and then slowly working my way up. The natural boar bristles are pure quality: they allow for even distribution of the natural oils of your hair from the root to the ends. For this reason, I no longer find myself using the array of hair products that I used to put in my hair each day, including dry shampoo. I've been using only this brush in my hair for about 6 months now, and my hair is the longest, healthiest, and shiniest it's ever been in my life. Just a heads up, I do try to spend at least 20 minutes at least once a day to carefully get rid of the knots. This brush is definitely not for the lazy- you have to put the work in. But it is gentle and built to last. This is one item every girl should have in her vanity!

Great brush!
I've owned the brush for months now and have yet to notice any bristles fall out. Loose hair and product rinses out easily as well and the size is perfect to slip in a bag. Definitely high quality and I hope to use it for a very very long time to come

The best hairbrush in the world is handmade in London, England. This is it.
Mason Pearson is expensive and worth every penny. The hairbrush will last you 30 years if you treat it well. This time, I found "sensitive" hair brush as my hair is thinning and I need top quality with comfort. Over time, the bristles will soften with use, but this is a classic brand. Anyone who has style and taste knows Mason Pearson...it is about time you step up from the hair salon and department store junky brushes. Keep it clean (they sell a cleaning tool) and don't let it get too wet for too long and it will last you 25-30 years.

Not sensitive
The regular brush far more “sensitive” than this so called “sensitive brush “. I’d return but three out the box bc I didn’t expect such a stiff different brush. The original far more sensitive

Treat Your Scalp
Just the best hairbrush I have ever used. The quality justifies the price of this very fine product.

soft bristle so that she can use it now on her baby fine hair as well as when she gets older as ...
I have owned several boar bristle brushes (BBB) before purchasing this one as a "keepsake" brush for my 3 year old daughter. I bought the "Sensitive", soft bristle so that she can use it now on her baby fine hair as well as when she gets older as a brush for her purse. Now onto the details! I own a Denman mixed bristle brush (nylon and boar). The first thing I noticed between the MP brush and the Denman was the MP cushion was much softer. Barely press the bristles down and it gives. The Denman...nada. I literally have to push hard down on the cushion with my finger to get it to budge. No way its going to give pushing on the tips of the bristles. So if this is important to you, pay the extra buck (or several bucks!) for the MP. The MP does penetrate my daughters baby fine hair well, however I don't find it removes dust and lint from her hair quite as effectively as my Bass soft bristle wooden brush (no cushion base, also on amazon. Its the Semi Oval soft boar brush). The Bass brush as densely packed tufts of soft bristles and its very effective at moving sebum down the hair shaft as well as catching lint. However, in my experience so far, a densely packed BBB doesn't penetrate the hair because there is more flat surface area. The MP is ingenious in their design. With few bristles in each tuft, some long and some short, this reduces surface area and helps the bristles to penetrate to the scalp. So if this is important to you, buy the MP! However, with the correct brushing technique, a brush that "penetrates" is not entirely necessary to get the job done. ( I do it the old fashioned way, with my head upside down brushing the nape, then the sides, then stand back up and do the top) With all that being said, my favorite BBB are ones that have a wooden base with densely packed soft-medium grade boar bristles. I expected the MP to make my daughter's hair as soft as the Bass brush...but guess what... it didn't...at least not as fast. I feel like the denser packed boar bristle brushes move more sebum per stroke. Nevertheless, is it a quality brush? Yes, indeed! It's a very fine, heirloom quality brush which is what I bought it for. But you can get your hair soft and manageable at a fraction of the cost with cheaper, yet still great quality brands. Kent makes high quality boar bristles brushes in a wide range of styles for half the cost. Bass is great brand to try out BBB on your hair without breaking the bank, and so far mine have not shed or fallen apart. I hope this helps you determine a MP is worth the cost to you!

You gotta buy one of these for your cat!
I bought this brush for my shorthaired cat. It is purrrfect for removing the loose hair, and giving her a great body massage. It is just the right size for brushing/scratching her cheeks. Turns out the sensitive boar bristles are not too soft and not too stiff for the delicate skin on a cat. Her coat has never looked better, and she absolutely LOVES her new brush!!! Prior to this purchase, I had bought a handy-sized mixed nylon and boar bristle Mason Pearson hairbrush for myself. Brushing my scalp with it for the first time was such a profound religious experience, I knew I had to procure one for my spoiled little fur baby as well. It also really smoothed down my stubborn frizzy grey hairs. It detangles very gently, without breaking the hair. My hair looks and feels amazing. I've been wasting my life, not using one of these brushes during my 53 years on this planet. What a wonderful gift a Mason Pearson hairbrush would be for a little girl with long hair! You can save a little money by purchasing a smaller sized brush. I'm doing great with the handy size even though my hair is a little thick and down to my tailbone. A larger brush is recommended for very long hair, but this one is working well for me. The pocket size is really all you need for a cat. They just don't have that much real estate.

Venditore preciso e puntuale.

I have fine hair and as a teenager I could never do anything with it until mum bought me a mason and Pearson hairbrush for my 16 th birthday , we’re talking 40 years ago and they were expensive then but it transformed my hair, it slid easily through tangles and made it feel soft and thicker. I always used it until in my 50s sadly I lost it, I was gutted and at the time with commitments, a family and mortgage etc could never justify paying out so much money for another. Now in my 60s I thought I’m going to treat myself, it arrived today and it’s the best thing I ever did. No other hairbrush can compare and I thoroughly recommend paying out for the best brush you can possibly buy, it even does its trick on greys 👍

Despite shipping from the UK, I received the brush quickly and the merchant answered my queries immediately. I am very happy with the brush, the service and the price.
