I'm glad I snagged it. Genuinely a very sweet and wholesome story with a great ending.Morinaga Milk remains one of the GOATs of Yuri.

Miu is looking for her prince, but being in an all girls school makes it a little hard to interact with boys. But when she accidentally sees the beautiful and popular Fujiwara accidentally break a priceless vase, she demands she dates her as practice for the future. But as time passes for both of them, they both start to realize maybe it is not a prince they are looking for after all.....Milk captures the essence of Girlfriends in this stand alone manga. The characters have their own personalities, Miu is a princess type who loves cute things and wants what her mother had, and Fujiwara is the slightly spacey, eccentric athletic type. But when they are together you can feel the chemistry between the two. I loved it and an looking forward to MIlk's new series coming up in a month or two.

4 StarsStatus: CompleteFormat: printAnother sweet story from Milk Morinaga! She is definitely an auto buy for me and you really can’t go wrong with any of her titles. This is complete story told in one volume and because it is not told over several volumes, it does feel a little more rushed compared to her other works. It ends in the traditional “and they got together” fashion instead of showing how they navigate a relationship, which something Milk Morinaga is very good at. The art is lovely and dialogue smooth. I do like Seven Seas translations and that they keep the honorifics along with the “reverse” manga style. If you are looking for a quick and easy gateway into yuri manga, this is a good way to go. Quick note: always read her author notes at the end but especially this one. It had me laughing.This book is out of physical print but is pretty easy to find used. You can buy it as an ebook if you have an issue finding it.WARNING: It is unusual that I need to add a warning to a Milk Morinaga title, but this one does have a threat of suicide. It isn’t graphic, the character is distraught and thinks it is best if she just “disappears.”

Great one off strory by a popular and talented Yuri writer. If you're looking for something quick to read, or have a interest in Yuri then this book is great. It tells a good story at a good pace (maybe a little fast, but it is a one off story). If you liked Girlfriends by Milk Morinaga then you will like this manga.

Vary well done one shot. Milk Morinaga is defiantly at the top of the game with this yuri manga. Secret Of The Princess was vary well thought out and follows a "fake" romance of two girls in high school. The blackmail that ensues is short and the two really start to feel something for eachother. A must buy for any fan of yuri and a top pick for me. This one shot feels complete and gives you a lot to think about what the future will hold for both the girls.

I'm really not sure what else to say but that my son loved this whole series

meet cute. giving so much feeling. I love this book. the bonus stories were the best for me who is a lover of chemistry. and the cool girl falling for the traditional girl rocks

The only downside is, if you've read anything else by Milk Morinaga, you pretty much know exactly what to expect, and it can be a little same-y. But on the other hand, that can also be a good thing, because her works are always so incredibly cute, sweet, well-drawn and just emotionally beautiful.
