He's on allergy medication but his eyes can still get either red and/or gummy quite easily. This product cleared up the infection in a matter of days. My dog allows me to put it in with little fuss on his part--certainly no more than when I use eye wash or a liquid product. A caveat to those planning to use it: The gel formula means that you only need to use a tiny bit; one drop in each eye worked perfectly for my huge Newfoundland. Besides, the gel texture means that anything over one drop will run right out of your pet's eye. It isn't a huge deal, but if you aren't careful dispensing it, you can waste product.
