Surprisingly good results
To be honest, given the coarseness of the file, I wasn't expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results I got with this tool. It is comfortable to use, it holds the file well, and the file itself does a remarkable job. After filing the ends, top dressing, and then re-crowing a couple frets, the ends polished out easily with steel wool. I'd recommend giving it a try.

good utilitarian tool
I liked the idea of having the fixed angle, and I liked the size. mine did not come with a "G" burned into any of the surfaces, but otherwise looks like the pictures. The file is a fine file so it takes a very long time to file the cut fret ends down flush. I ended up having to use a medium file to reduce some of the length before this really came in handy, but then it really came in handy. Gave a very professional looking bevel without much work, and without much wear on the file, which looks like a segment of a larger file that was cut and ground to fit this. Which, by the way, is removable, so after one side is worn out you can remove it and flip it and use the other side, and once that side is worn out, you can cut up another file and start over. Can't say I want to use this very often, don't particularly relish doing refret jobs, but when I do use it, i'll be glad I have it.

great with a small flaw
This file gets the job done on the cheap. My only complaint is that the thin outward edge of the file isn't dulled, so if you slip you may mar your frets. This can be fixed with a grinding stone or a piece of tape though, so it's a good deal considering the price. Picture is taken right after filing and before shaping.

Not bad at all
Not bad. Still need a second file to to smooth all the edges, but this is not bad at all.

A must for a hobbyist
Did a practice run on a throw away neck that made me think about tossing it. The ones I was serious about came out good. No scratching. You have to keep the file clean.

Great
Very worth it. Consistent angle grinding and it works very well with steel frets. This will save you a lot of time and effort.

The Beveling File is a useful tool and served the purpose as I anticipated
The Beveling File is a useful tool and served the purpose as I anticipated. I still had to use another file to smooth the outer sides of the filed frets.

As described
Is a nice chunk of wood with nice feel to the touch, the file itself is has a nice teeth to file in each pas, the angle is spot on, I’m on my second fret dressing with this tool and loving it.

Does the job.
Bought a new Gibson Les Paul tribute in faded honey burst a few weeks ago. Who would think that you would have to fix the fret ends on a brand new $1,300 guitar. The fret bevelling file took care of the 30 degree angle. A flat file and fret crowning file helped with the rest. The guitar is a player now. It’s sad to think we pay $300 for a guitar and $1,000 for the name on the headstock.
