I've used these can openers for some time. I purchased this one to keep in my travel trailer so I don't have to move it back and forth. They work very well, and take the top off so it isn't sharp.

Love the ease of use. The lids do not have sharp edges when removed nor do the cans.

We liked this sharpener, since it leaves a useful lid instead of a sharp metal, but after a couple of hundred cans, it needs to go around twice to break the lid loose. It's not worth the wait, so we went back to the old style.

Works well, for people with arthritis. Cuts clean and fast. Seems well built.

I really like this can opener, makes my life so much easier!! I ordered one for my sister and she loves it too.However, after 6-7 months mine quit working all of a sudden. SOOO upset!! I'm trying to contact the company but seem to be going in circles. I hope someone there sees this & contacts me. It's an excellentcan opener. I haven't even changed the batteries yet and I use a lot of canned food! I would like it replaced. Hope to contact seller soon.I've gone through Amazon & they sent me a link but can't seem to get my info to the company. :(

DO NOT BUY this can opener!!!!! I purchased many items because I was moving and needed a compact can opener, I do not have very much space in my kitchen. After I received it, I put it away in a box until when it was to be moved into my new place. I took it out the other day to use it and it does not work. I asked my son in law to help me because I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. He could not get it to work either. He tried shutting it off and it would not turn off. We had to leave it and when we returned 20 minutes later it was still going, however it does not open cans. Unfortunately, the return window closed in October. Now I am without a battery operated can opener and have this one that is worthless. I now have to find a battery powered can opener that will actually work. It is pretty, but that's about it.

Difficult to use. If the lip on the can is too large, it won't open at all.
