Goggles Bungee Straps

I love these bungee straps. I replaced the latex straps of my swedish goggles for two reasons: a.) they last a lot longer and are significantly more durable and b.) they come in a variety of colors to add a little something different to the normal mixup of goggles.If you are into high level competitive swimming I would not use these cords for your competition goggles as they are not as aero-dynamic and the clip will press against your head underneath your second cap. They are however wonderful to use on your everyday goggles and will last a long time. Also, while the color has faded some on these straps- natural given the amount of time spent in chlorine, they have still retained much of their orange color.

Rubber goggle straps stretch, rot, and eventually break. These bungee straps are the perfect replacement for Swedish or other gasket-less style goggles. It is the only strap I use on my Swedish goggles anymore. I have a bungee strap that is 7 years old and still working just like it did when new. I wear the straps loose for workouts, medium-tight for starting block work. Another added advantage is that the bungee strap doesn't roll down a swim cap when I dive in from a starting block.

My son was a high school swimmer and he cannot live without them. His only problem now is the goggles that fit on these broke and he wants goggles to fit the straps! Usually it is the other way around.

Even for guys with short hair these are a lot more comfortable than the old standard rubber straps. 2 mo wds

So far they have been fine. Now, I just need to find the right googles to go with the straps.
