The comfort it gave me after surgery

Very soft and worked great after my lumpectomy. I wish it had a velcro strap to hold under my armpit after my sentinel biopsy. Great product

This pillow was a life saver after lumpectomy and lump node removal. I used when I slept, sat on the couch and traveled. It fits perfectly under the arm and reduces the movement which helped with the pain.

I have to admit that I was skeptical about whether this pillow would actually help me after my mastectomy, but it really does! I am able to sleep so much more comfortably now that I have this little pillow, and I am so grateful for it. I just wish I had known it existed prior to my surgery because I can only imagine that it would have been incredibly helpful for the ride home from the hospital and back and forth to doctors' appointments in the days immediately afterwards. I'll be going in to complete my reconstruction in a few months and I already know that this pillow will be going into my hospital bag!Bottom line, if you or someone you love is facing a mastectomy or similar surgery, I highly recommend this pillow.

I had a double mastectomy and purchased two of these pillows. They are a little cheaper than the "red ones" offered with other breast cancer kits. The micro beading stuffing is great as they conform to your shape. I love that I can remove the cover and wash it, because sometimes ports and incisions leak. I use these at home when I'm reclining and in the vehicle. I only gave it 4 stars because they aren't large enough or stiff enough to press against your sternum or other incision areas when you need to cough.

I recently had a double mastectomy and bought two of these pillows. I was sore and tender after surgery, and had drains on each side. I used these pillows a LOT. They were great to tuck in between my sides and arms when the drains were bothering me, or when my skin was just too sensitive and it hurt to have my arms resting on my sides. I also used them to prop my arm up at shoulder height so I could properly do certain exercises. They were also great as buffers between my arms and the drains when I was sleeping. Even after the drains were pulled, you still have a lot of sensitivity at the drain sites until they heal up, and these pillows continued to be useful.Now that I am almost healed, I find myself still using these pillows. I put one in my lap and prop a book on it while reading, or my tablet when surfing the web. My house is decorated in beachy hues so I have left them out as decorative pillows that I can grab whenever I want to use one!

I purchased 3 different pillow or protection items prior to my double mast. For me, this is the least used. I thought each pillow would go under my arm. No! They are too big. This is good for in the car, under a seatbelt, or at a table, chest high to protect your chest. For the car, I also bought a padded seat belt cover, which is impossible to take on and off easily. So, this pillow is easy to transport when passenger in another’s car. Or out to dinner between you and the table.

I gave this to my dad who just had open heart surgery and he says it’s helping him A LOT. He tried using a “regular” pillow to hold against his chest and he said it cannot compare to the one I gave him. GREAT PURCHASE. Highly recommended.
