Mission First Tactical Torch Standard Mount Black

Best flashlight mount on Amazon for the price and functionality. I've tried a bunch of different kinds including Elzetta (also a high quality brand) but this one takes the cake. Application/removal to a rail is easy, so if you have multiple defensive carbines or shotguns that you want to be able to move your light systems between this is a great system. I bought 3 for a couple of my AR15's and one for my 590a1, and this really cannot be beat. I used it with a Streamlight 88850 Polytac LED Flashlight found @  Streamlight 88850 Polytac LED Flashlight with Lithium Batteries, Black  and it works great. I'll also note that even with tons of rounds through my 590a1 (3" slugs, 00 buck, 500+ rounds), the mount does not slip or slide off. Same goes with my Colt 6920 that I run this on. Overall my favorite weapon light mount system.Update: Went from 5* to 4* because the thumb operated latches to take it on/off have never loosened up. Even with above average grip strength it's rough on the thumb joints.

Fitting a light in this mount took some engineering, but with some fiddling I got it all situated. The mount itself is solid. Fits tight on rail and retention clip is strong. Accomplished what I wanted, which is to remove the light while at the range and reinstall after without having to use any tools.

The looks I give 5 stars. However, the quick detach buttons are pretty much worthless and will cause more problems than they are worth. The mount will always be loose and wobble. If they replace the quick detach with a standard screw to snug it on a picatinny rail I would give the mount 4 stars. If I didn't have to do some simple modifications with a razor knife to get my Thrunite flashlight to fit; which is within the diameters listed, it would be 5 stars.

Purchased this mount for an AR-15. Fits on the M1913 (picatinny) rail and fits the small tactical flashlight I bought for it. The light is a streamlight with single AA battery that I bought from Amazon. I had to cut a piece of the interior to make it fit, hence the four stars. Otherwise it works great.

Hold the flashlight great but dont hold wellon a rifle picatini rail.For recreation purpose only

It does the job, but the spring loaded latch is very stiff, I have another one of a different brand that I like better.

Too big for the light I wanted to mount. It's been relegated to the parts bin.

Alittle stiff at first sliding it on and off the rail but after you break it in it fine. Good alternative if you don't wish to spend over 100 bucks for a weapons light or permanently mount your good light to a weapon. I can slide my sunlight eagle turbo light off my shotgun when on patrols and quickly reattach it no problem.

Works well.
