Receivers do not fit 2"
I purchased this to go on the back of my truck and have the top for adding cargo storage and the bottom to have a tow ball. The road master fit into my hitch, but my 2" curt ball hitch would not fit into Roadmaster receiver.. neither receiver. It claims that both receivers are 2" but I tried several times to fit it in and it would not work.. I lined up my curt hitch ball and the back end of this dual receiver and they are the same size ( as the receiver that goes into the hitch is also 2"). I am not sure why, but it wouldn't fit.. Has anyone else had this issue? I tried wd-40-ing the inside to loosen it up but I ended getting my ball hitch stuck and then a real hard time getting it back out.I would also prefer this receiver to have 2 circular holes to hold it in place at the truck hitch connection, as it does stick out very far, and my ball hitch ( if I could connect it) would be sticking out over a foot from the truck. This may me advantageous for some, but It would be nice to have it closer to the truck for non towing times. My specific ball hitch has 3 different size balls and a tow hook, and I use the tow hook for other purposes when I have no desire for towing, so I like to keep it attached..Anyone have any input with this?

Roadmaster (077-4 Dual Hitch Receiver
It's a Roadmaster product so you know it's a quality item. Just make sure if you are using this in a motorhome receiver which you probably are, that you measure to know if there will be interference with the fiberglass cap. If the rise is too high you may have interference, and the solution is to add an extender. In my case I chose the 4 inch riser version and I had 1/4 inch clearance, so it was good and I didn't need to get an extender, since this product already extends by original hitch by 10 inches.

exceeds expectations
Was sure after reading reviews fit would be a problem. Maybe my old hitch is built bigger, or it has become larger actually using and abusing it and the truck instead of just trying to impress everybody. This receiver went right in and accepted the Smittybuilt cradle with no problems at all. It's very stout and should work for my winching onto trailer needs. Will update after some hard use!

Great hitch
We use this on our 2019 Fleetwood 35QS motor home. We tow a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Diesel and have 2 electric bikes (they weigh about 40lbs each) This receiver does the job without issue

Very well built!!
I bought this as I needed to get rid of the square tube receiver on the RV, it wasn't strong enough (the squartube that is). So, this is built very well, some might say over built, but Roadmaster builds a lot of tow equipment so I expected it to be strong. I needed a 2" drop to level out the tow bar for the toad, plus a receiver for the bike rack strong enough to hold the E-Bikes (65lbs each) and this certainly fits the bill. Rated for 10K lbs it is overkill as my toad is only 4200lbs but more is better in this cast.
