Like new Easy install Pefect description
The product arrived and within an hour it was installed and functioning properly. The one thing to keep in mind is lifting that spare tire back up my 37-in 12.5 tires were quite heavy but got it to work and I'm happy with the product

Works ok, but rattles
Works well with a 3 gallon Rotopax. Outward placement of the Rotopax vs the spare tire was good with a 35x12 tire.I modified the tire mount and bolted it to the tire carrier in order to make it easier to get the spare on.Only thing that could be improved is to get a tighter fitting inner / outer tube combination, and perhaps use a captive screw with built in handle rather than the set screw.Update: After use on washboard roads I found that the set screw will come loose in about a mile, no matter how tight it is to begin with. Then the gas can will jiggle around and make noise. I plan to shim out the inner tube to make a tighter fit so I don't need the set screw.Update 2: I welded on 0.050" shims and it is a nice sliding fit. One observation is that the tube is not DOM so has a interior seam, which requires large clearances. Rotopax: perhaps make the outer tube ID undersized and use a broach, or tack weld on shims.

Took forever to ship, attempted to cancel 5 times before they shipped anyway.
This took forever to ship so I attempted to cancel the order 5 times and then like “magic” it started moving. Some others experiences with this seller had me doubting that I’d ever see a refund if I sent it back so I decided to keep it. As far as the product goes, it seems well constructed and was a breeze to install. Packaged well and everything else seemed fine with the order. If you are in a hurry,... might look for anther source. Also, this seems expensive for what it is.

Fits my 1996 First Gen Toyota Rav4 perfectly
It fits! it sticks out a bit but honestly im just glad it holds an extra 2gal of gas in-case of an emergency.

Had to trim all four corners to fit my Jeep Cj7 spare tire carrier. Now it works fine.
