Wonderfully written story about the priorities in life
Yard Sale makes me tearful most times I read it. People can get so wrapped up in the "things" they have and accumulate. This book is a great illustration of the importance of family and love, above all else.

A Classic Eve Bunting Gem!
A beautifully woven story with so many dimensions. The uses for reading workshop -- character analysis and theme work well here. Additionally, for writing workshop, structure and craft lessons abound. I highly recommend that you add this book to your toolbox.
