Haier WD-5100-23 Wool Pad

I have never seen a dryer that has 2 filters, the screen and a wool pad. However, this system really works. We simply clean the screen every time we use the dryer and then every 2-3 times we use the vacuum attachments and clean the wool pad (if we dry a load of towels then we clean the wool pad that time regardless of if we just cleaned it). Originally I used a tape roller, but that weakened the integrity of the wool. I asked and someone else suggested the vacuum attachment and it works the best. Some have said that they have a few and just swap them out and then clean a bunch at once but it is just as easy to clean it as needed and put it back in the dryer since it is in the bedroom and the carpet in there gets vacuumed anyway.

Anyone who owns the Haier HLP140E Dryer can tell that finding good quality replacements pads can be a chore! I especially liked the price that Amazon had on these; however the problem came when I tried to receive them. It took a lot longer than the estimated time for arrival (no weather delay). I contacted Amazon and was pleasantly surprised when they worked with me because of the length of delay in receiving this product!I would still order these because they are hard to find and the price was good!

After purchasing these through another on-line seller, I finally found them on Amazon. The price is the best and the shipping was free! The other seller charged over $7.00 shipping and handling even though the product themselves weigh about as much a standard envelope. What a rip off! Anyway, I'm so glad I found them on Amazon and hope they will continue to sell them as I replace these in my dryer about once a month.

Not a fan of this "mini" clothes dryer (that my landlord chose to put in this rental condo - but hey - it's a dryer!) and it's weird little "lint ring" that you have to clean. The pad that came with it, that I was seeking to replace, was a lot flimsier than this one that I ordered here on Amazon! This wool pad is a bit "stiffer", slightly thicker, and easier to clean than the original one. Because it is a bit thicker, I just use a lint brush - WAY too much of a hassle to drag out my vacuum every time I need to clean it!

Better than the original that came with the dryer. Much more durable!

Nothing to like or not like--it is a pad, and necessary to run my Haier portable dryer. This appears to be the only place to get them; I tried buying materiall like that of the bad, and cuttign my own, but I cannot find

Fits perfectly and works better than the original part. Seems to be a tougher material than the original; this one is stiff and holds it's shape, the original flexed like a fabric, maybe it was cotton?

Heavy duty
